These guys get sub-contracted out by larger companies, and I had issues with those larger companies, but these guys who did the actual work were amazing. Their turnaround between receiving the order and having a finished install was only THREE DAYS, and we had a HUGE kitchen and several bathrooms done all at once in a new build. Had everything installed and done in a couple of hours. Where the seams between the slabs are? If you don't know exactly where to look for them, you're not gonna find 'em. Ended up with a slight problem later where a door just barely clipped into the counter edge (not their fault, we didn't even have that door set yet when they were there and it was like half a millimeter). We gave them a call, they came out and redid the corner free of charge. Everyone I talked to was nice, professional, and courteous. I got constant updates and calls from them, they gave us a head's up before coming out so we could make sure someone was on site, and despite a few problems that were entirely our fault for not letting them know about ahead of time they rolled with everything and got the job done like pro's. Again, I had and am still having some somewhat serious problems with the companies higher up the food chain that aren't wanting to honor the deal they made us (namely Lowe's and whatever middle-man sales company is being used), but that in no way reflects on these guys. My builder uses this company for counter. When my husband and I decided to upgrade our counter we were directed here to pick one out. We picked the slab, and I very specifically opted for a 2" border instead of a 5". The counter was installed without the border so I called Jack to make sure they were going to install a 2" not a 5". He assured me it would be a 2". Today I see a 5" was glued in, and even along my cabinets. When I called him he told me to deal with my builder and completely wiped his hands of the whole situation. My builder said to uninstall it will ruin not only the walls but also the cabinet. I'm so furious at the lack of professionalism and the lack of ethic from Jack and his company that there is NO WAY I would ever recommend this company to anyone. NOT a customer service oriented company! This is a company that subcontracts through business like Haus Pro (who is another echelon!) through companies like Cabinets-to-Go and Home Outlet in Huntsville, Alabama. Jack committed through Misty at Home Outlet to do the 2 pieces of quartz counter tops for our bathroom in June. This company evidently does not have an adequate system in place to track orders it receives from the businesses they have contracted with. It was difficult first of all to contact them for measuring my counter. The 3 young men (Brandon, Austin, and Logan) were very friendly when they came and asked to take my sink with them. When it came time to finish my bathroom project around 20 July and I wanted to find out when it could be delivered, I ran into problems. I received calls from Cabinets-to-Go and another company in Huntsville who had received calls asking if my counter order had come through them. I explained I ordered my cabinets through Home Outlet. OMG, Jason was so rude to me on the initial phone call with him. Then I wrote Haus Pro and Home Outlet that he stated he did not have time to answer calls and wanted me to text him & I asked for acknowledgement that he had received the text. No response. Wrote Haus Pro & Home Outlet about his lack of proactive customer service. He called and was defensive, rude, curt and stated, "you ran my company under the bus." I told him, I was frustrated by the amount of calls and emails I had to do to get measuring, status, and delivery information. A simple apology by him would have been nice but he expected me to apologize!! Not great customer service technique!! What happened to 'the customer is always right', apologizing and trying to make it right using positive customer service techniques & procedures. By the end of the day he refused to speak with Mike, the Home Outlet Manager. I was notified through a text by Jason that he had made a decision to not do my order and would be mailing my sink back FEDEX. I had even told Francine at Haus Pro that all Jason needed to do was do what anyone in a customer service business should do, apologize to me for his call (which should have been the right thing to do!) and make my counters. I was informed by Francine at the end of the day that Jason who was standing in for the manager on sick leave and normally just cuts the counters and thus was not comfortable dealing with customers was not willing to apologize, would NOT be making my counter, and would be sending my sink back!!! If you are going through companies like Home Outlet, Cabinets-to-Go, Lowe's, etc. find out if this is the company they subcontract to and make a decision to RUN to another positive customer service company. I ordered countertops through Lowe's. I was not told that we could pick the slab out ourselves. The copy of our contract was poorly printed and we did not have the whole sentence that stated we would pick it out ourselves. (initial here) Ultimately, this company was the decider on the countertop. Of course they chose the cheapest ugliest rock in the yard. So although I paid close to $3,000 for it, I got something that probably cost $500 brought to me. I have seen better grave stones with better finish. They can do this because they have a warranty department that says "hey its rock, you can expect that it will be rough, pitted and include weird stain marks". Then, when they put the sink in, it was propped up with a couple of pieces of laminate flooring, no strap or nothing. Of course it slid and was hanging off on one corner. We had to have someone who knew what they were doing come fix it. With so many counter top places to choose from, do not choose this one or one called Alpha Roc Granite. read more

Completely UNPROFESSIONAL !! Jack with Creative Surfaces of Chattanooga also contracts with Lowes to cut and install countertops purchased through Lowes. Jack assured my local Lowes he had the product we wanted. Gave $3700 to Lowes, but then 3 weeks later and still no word about delivery. Kept contacting Lowes to see what the problem was. The Lowes associate I worked with indicated that "Jack with Creative Surfaces" was not returning his calls regarding status of order. Numerous attempts to follow up remained unsuccesful. He gave me Jack's cell number to call. Finally made contact myself and then get run around on delivery availability. Jack refusing to work with us on delivery date, stating will ONLY deliver to me when he has other jobs in my area. NO exceptions! Not like I was the one who chose this guy to install a Lowes Product. HE was the one who decided to contract with Lowes to provide a service. I cant help it if HE made a bad business move and now was inconvenienced by working for Lowes. He got my money..... then wouldnt provide the service he contracted with Lowes to do. Installed 6 weeks after purchase date. WRONG SIZE. Installers apologized, saying it just got cut wrong in their shop. Promised me Jack would reorder and fix it right. Now, 4 weeks after install and Still nothing. Purchased 10 weeks ago from Lowes and still waiting on "Jack with Creative Surfaces" to deliver and install what we paid for. This certainly gives Lowes a bad reputation when their contractor performs so unprofessionally. Of course, Lowes hands are tied when the contractor holds the product and services hostage. My experience with Creative Surfaces on East Main Street in Chattanooga Tn was awesome. Jack was very friendly and professional and very helpful in explaining to me to different surfaces and what would be required in the upkeep of each one. His crew got here right when they said they would to measure my counter and then again to install it. They were very neat and polite and professional. I would highly recommend this business to anyone considering stone counter tops. Actually they did my nieces kithchen is how I come to know of them. They also did an outstanding job on hers.
