He promised me that my credit would be fixed within two weeks, my score would reach 700, and he would help secure a loan to rebuild my financial situation. He specifically assured me that everything would be legal and official. What actually happened: After nearly 5 months, my credit score is now worse than when I started. The company did not deliver any real service. The owner repeatedly ignored my calls and texts. When I demanded a refund so I could hire a legitimate company, he rudely refused, saying: "I do not work for free." This company took my money, damaged my credit further, and caused months of stress. I now have to rebuild the damage on my own. Save yourself the headache! Do not trust this business with your money or your credit. There are legitimate credit counseling agencies out there but this is not one of them.

Monday came. No call. Finally a few days later I get a call and he basically insinuates that I failed to call him. Then we speak and I get "I will call you tomorrow around this time" yet again. And that was the LAST time I heard from this guy. Now a random company has my personal information that claims to be Golden Financial but I do not trust them. I will never ever use them for anything. Not after all those red flags and a man that cannot follow up on anything he says he is going to do. Way too sketchy for me. The company has now been reaching out after I posted some reviews the other day. While I feel like I have every right to be upset considering, I am now receiving rude emails from Rick in regards to the situation. He admitted to me that he didn't even remember my name. We spoke on a Saturday and by Monday he had forgotten my name entirely. So I, as a customer, don't feel like I matter. While there may be a lot of good reviews, some of us are entitled to bad ones when a bad experience happens. I wish I could upload the email that was sent to me by him a few minutes ago. All I want is for the company to delete my information out of their system and I am getting nothing but "I hope the people you deal with, in any aspect of life, are more forgiving because things do happen...its how we deal with those things that matters" (taken word for word from an email from Rick) I say there is nothing they can do to help because I don't want anything from them other then to have them remove my information. Note: even if I had an unpaid loan contacting my employer is a violation of the FCRA. They have also called my phone several times (which is a violation of the TCPA because I am on the National Do Not Call List). This outfit has no real address. The address given on their website is a Postal Annex store in a strip mall. Note: using a shipping center that offers P.O boxes is a commonly used scam by "businesses" that do not want to be found. In those cases the "Apartment" number in their address is actually the P.O. box number located at the shipping center. However, in this case the "Apartment" number is the actual suite number of the shipping center itself! The Postal Annex store at the address given on the United Debt Relief website is located between a chinese restaurant (suite 104) and an Edward Jones office (suite 106) you can see this for yourself using Google street view to look at the address given on their website. Their latest calls to my phone have all used a VOIP connection that presents a false caller ID so you cannot identify them or call them back. Another important point is that their business status, according to the California SOS, is "Suspended - FTB" which means that their business has not filed and/or paid their taxes and is prohibited from doing business in California. Another note: The latest call to my phone was from a member of their "network" that gave their address as 26 Beaver Creek Drive, Warren, Ohio. That is a single wide trailer in a trailer park.
