Check all my photos to get a full visual on how great this cabin is. Convenient and not even a quarter mile from the Buffalo Outdoor Center. Some cabins in the area need a 4wd to get to but not this one, it's right off the highway. All the amenities of home with a full kitchen, free wifi, DirectTV, DVD collection and the private back porch and patio have treats of a fire pit and outdoor hot tub. They even provide the firewood, kindling and a lighter. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a nice getaway for two. Super close to the Lost Valley trail, Steel Creek, the Elk educational center and elk watching.

I was a bit hesitant because of some of the reviews. Well, don't listen to them! When I called, they had enough sit on top kayaks to accommodate our large group. Our cars were moved to the exact location with no problem at all. Harleigh helped us and even was even able to switch around some single kayaks to double kayaks. They had loads of information regarding the weather and river levels that was so helpful. To top it off, on the way home, my suburban was having issues on all the winding roads and hills and I had to stop off again at Buffalo River Canoes to pop the hood and see what was going on. Well, a woman named Callo came out and helped us so much! She gave us so much information on what was going on with my car and even brought out some purified water to top off the coolant. We were out of there in no time. She was super helpful when I thought we were going to be stuck in Ponca for days with a broken vehicle. Needless to say, we made it back to KC just fine! Their home is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views overlooking the canyon. One of our favorite moments was enjoying Nawlins coffee on the peaceful deck in the morning--so relaxing. The house itself was lovely, and breakfast in their gorgeous new addition was truly top notch. 10/10 experience--we'll definitely be back and will happily recommend to others!

The beauty lodge was a little hard to get to, the driveways were a bit confusing and would require an all wheel drive vehicle in certain parts. Once there the rooms were all beautiful and the space was a relaxing spot to wake up and listen to the birds on the spacious porch. We appreciated being able to call for directions and updates and loved the flexibility with the owner. We enjoyed playing pool downstairs and having everything we needed from good wifi to extra towels.

I had made the reservation 8-10 months in advance and called several days beforehand. Had there been an issue, I should have been informed at that time. This woman continued to yell, shake profusely and call me a liar, saying sarcastically she would, "pray for me". There was something very off about whatever is going on in that house. As this woman was shaking and yelling, she told me they actually utilize their handicapped daughter as their house maid! Yet she was very ugly about allowing my service dog. Even though it was getting late and I had no other place to stay, I just had to get out of there. It was all very bizarre. This place is downright scary. Enter at your own risk!
