Creekside I'm gonna start with save your money and live at Mustang, or anywhere else. I try and give this place the benefit of the doubt daily and they just continue to disappoint. For starters, they are terrible about communicating anything that isn't beneficial to them. they have little regard for their tenants, especially tenants' safety! The place was disgusting when we moved in, as clumps of the previous tenant's hair were found all over the house. Our refrigerator let off a rotten milk smell(also courtesy of the previous tenant) and it took over 4 months of living with an unusable refrigerator before they switched it out, after they entered my apartment without consent. The maintenance man blatantly lied to me and threatened me with fines to gain access to my apartment, and Creekside did not offer so much as an apology. Parties are being thrown at the pool every evening by non-tenants, with nothing being done about it. The pool didn't open until well into the hot months of Texas, then the pool was closed before we were done having triple-digit days. The pool is closed randomly. It's truly not worth the money. Creekside refuses to allow the tow of non-residents so there is little that can be done by the actual residents. This complex is overrun by people who do not live here, and Creekside shows no concern over the matter. They have rules in your lease that you must maintain your backyard (no one does) yet when you go above and beyond to keep your yard and surrounding areas nice Creekside has their extremely uneducated lawn crew come kill it. They allow rules to be broken regularly, but if you question why rules aren't being enforced they talk over you and just say you're being rude to them...(I guess questioning common sense and rules is rude?) There's dog feces on every inch of grass, as they do not enforce cleaning up after your pet, nor do they do anything to combat it. I've had a laundry list of problems with this place from almost being run over by a speeding resident, and being sexually harassed at the pool, to my neighbors dumping their litter boxes in the shared space, and Creekside always has the same solution: send out a generic email to all residents. Lastly, Creekside not only allows their employees to steal from their residents, but they also lie and cover it up! While moving out of Creekside, multiple items were stolen out of the townhouse after Creekside had been in there spraying. If you want to follow up on the issue you either get brushed off or again told you're being too mean to them. Competence is hard to come by and there sure isn't any here. The blatant disregard for the tenants here is disgusting. read more

Love Creekside! The staff is always professional and friendly. I needed an apartment on short notice during Thanksgiving break and they were able to accommodate my request. I love that they have a package delivery service at the front desk so that I do not need to be home to sign for a package. The laundry facilities are open 24/7 and you have a choice of using cash or card, which is a plus. Each unit has a private back yard. Any maintenance request I have had has always been fulfilled either the same or next day. Definitely recommend this apartment complex! I have lived here for 16 months before writing this review. read more

After three years residency, my granddaughter graduated from college. She went into the Creekside Townhomes office and notified them that she would be leaving in three months. They said fine, and set a last date for her to be out. A month after she left, we were sent a bill for an additional month's rent for not notifying them in writing. Is that entrapment? I think so. Had an unfortunate encounter with the new Property Manager regarding packages (Gifts) I had shipped directly to my daughter. Emma Walker would not give me time to speak. Instead she took my daughter into a closed room in an attempt to belittle and speak to her like a child. My husband (co-signer on her lease) asked for a boss' name and was told "Your daughter needs to find a new place to live". This is how a tenant of almost 18 months is treated. Rent always paid on time, and never one complaint. Until they have someone like Kris running the place I would steer clear of Creekside. read more

I moved here to open a store and knew nothing about the area, the leasing manager Allison Frey was a huge help. She answered all of my phone calls and questions. She was very pleasant and kind. It was a pretty easy move with her assistance. The other ladies in the office are really nice and helpful as well. Great job y'all, I appreciate y'all!!! read more

New property manager (Emma Waker - as of Dec. 2022) is a HORRIBLE person! Have been a good tenant here for 1.5 years, never any issues until this miserable person showed up. The new manager of literally 2 days was absolutely unprofessional, abrasive, and threatening. Just because we had packages in the office for 2-days (they are normally held for 7-days). Could not pick them up because we were out of town - 3-days before Christmas. The packages were mostly Christmas gifts! Tried speaking with the manager in a reasonable manner, however she only made effort to escalate the situation into an altercation and speak down to us. I have never been treated so poorly by someone who is supposed to be a customer service professional. do yourself a favor - steer clear of this place! read more

These townhomes are way too over priced. The space is not big at all, the walls are paper thin, and management is not helpful at all. Save your money and time and find somewhere else to live. read more

Do not live here. I moved in May of 2021, and everything was great!! Good maintenance and clean apartment. Fast forward to now and the place is a dump. The new management did not put me into the computer system, so I had no idea they changed to a new resident portal online so I had no way to pay or get any information. When I went in to figure out what was going on they did not believe me and said I wasn't on the lease, after they checked the lease they then tried to put the blame on my boyfriend who is also on the lease saying he was not tell me he got them. I knew he had gotten the messages but I also need my own login for texts, information and payment. Secondly, the landscaping is so overgrown, with trash, weeds and dog waste everywhere. The laundry rooms are god awful, as they always take our money and never work, often times flooding our clothes and not draining any water. The worst issue has been the parking, as there has been multiple times where people have parked on the street behind me over night and when I try to leave for work in the morning I can't get my car out. There is no 24hr number to call, so they can call the contracted tow truck company and no tow companies that would tow it for me since it's not my property. I had to call the police who had to get the cars owner information and contact them that way. They also advertise the gym and the pool, but the gym is trashy, with the treadmill broken, the bike not working, the elliptical not turning on and holes in the ceiling. The pool was not open until the last days in August, because non residents were trashing it. These are 2 amenities that we pay for and should be able to use. On top of all that, we pay over $60 more then our friends that live in an identical unit as us, when we supposedly signed when there was a sale. Don't sign a lease here, I would get out of it if I could. read more

Told us we didn't have to pay our pro-rate fee upfront and that it would go onto our first bill. Double checked after we already moved in, continued to say the pro-rate fee would be included on our first month bill. Then the next day there was an eviction letter on our door. They charged us late fees because we were suppose to pay the pro-rate fee before our first bill. Went up and talked to them, they apologized, said it was their fault, and still made us pay the late fee. Been here two months, AC has stopped working, shower started to leak through the ceiling into the kitchen, laundry mats are expensive and cheap. I've been very disappointed so far. P.S. one day after writing this review our drain stopped working. Avoid this place. read more

WORST management i've ever seen. Laughed in our face when we reported an issue and continued to basically kick us out the door with the issue unaddressed. Apartments always have things breaking. Half the appliances, hot water, and sink were broken when we moved in. Lawn was about 4 ft high in the mid summer. Place wasn't vacuumed and had an insane amount of dog hair EVERYWHERE. Laundry mat washer/dryers never work and are always breaking. You have to pay about 10-12$ just to do your laundry every time because every machine breaks halfway through and you have to restart your loads. This place has been disappointing from the start and only seems to have gotten worse. We will definitely not be renewing and would highly suggest not living here read more

Knew we were moving in from over two hours away and couldn't walk the apartment before signing the lease so on the day we moved in we found out the previous tenant had pets and the carpet smells so bad and looks dank. Unscrupulous, miss managed, and liars. We provided them with 3 months notice that we will not be taking occupation of the unit. They will not provide a copy of your lease agreement upon request. The manager told us to get out of our lease, since our daughter had to transfer to another college, because Tarleton does not offer her degree, that it would be a one time re-let fee of 3/4 of our lease. THEN, when they have 45 empty units, she now says we will have to pay that amount MONTHLY for the entire year! THEN a week later, says she can sub-let it to a friend of hers from church, but he can only afford to pay $700 and we'd have to cover the remainder AND keep our rental insurance, PLUS, we'd still be responsible for any damages or rent he does not pay, but she feels sure he can PROBABLY handle that rent amount. UMMM - NO! NOT MY CHARITY CASE SWEETIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND NOW, they will not give us a copy of our lease agreement unless we drive 5 hours, round trip, to show them a copy of our ID. Constant massive construction noise that doesn't seem to adhere to any local ordinances, barking dogs, thin walls and incredibly expensive laundry prices make this an awful place to live. In fact, there are so many serious issues with the place I expect Creekside Townhomes to be sued deeply into bankruptcy within years. When my roommate and I first moved in during July we were promised all our amenities would be finished before the summer was up. Our pool, our dog park, and laundry room. We were promised a fenced in backyard the week we moved in. It took months for them to get around to that then a few more months for them to lay sod. Another downside is the unwanted varmints and rodents such as cockroaches, ants, and mice. It seems as if they give you the run around because they do not want to give you a direct answer. No assigned parking so youll probably have to walk a little bit, which sucks ,in rain or cold weather because the students like to invite their friends over and they park all over the place, even in covered parking you pay for. Barely any gym equipment and the stuff they have is barely or not usuable. Broke my lease just to get out of there because I couldn't stand not being able to sleep or park but oh they were sure quick to get me in court. Creekside wants to suck you into their trap with things like "No Deposit" "Great Amenities" and "Chance to Win a car". DO NOT FALL FOR IT. The office staff won't want to help you with anything. They put things back on you, or dodge your questions. For example... the walls are paper thin and our neighbors dog would not stop barking. We asked our neighbors to solve this issue, didn't happen. So we went to creekside management and they said that it was something that we had to deal with. *Other Things to Note* - Not having a washer or dryer doesn't seem like a bad thing? No, you will regret it really quick. The machines that they have are crazy expensive and you will end up having to dry your clothes 2 to 3 times.
