Campus seems pretty small compared to other LACCD colleges I have been to, like LAVC or LAPC. Drove…read morehere for fall physiology and found a great teacher, unlike those at LAVC that are just so difficult to work with. Loved the science building where the class was held; the library is nice, but the bookstore is extremely small and barely has anything. I'm used to big bookstores; this one is really small. The whole campus seems to be tightly packed, where all buildings are pretty much together, which is great if you don't want to walk far but also makes the campus look really small. This is odd because their football field, or soccer field, I'm not sure what it is, but is huge and looks like a bowl, like a mini version of the Rose Bowl. Looks like it holds thousands of people and can probably hold a small concert in there, maybe less than 8000? I don't know, but it seems pretty good in size, that's for sure. Overall the campus is nice for the size, and although I can't speak for admin or anything since I only spent 1 semester here, the staff I did encounter were kind. Will take another class here.

The only issue was some of the chairs were not that comfortable. The seminar was informative and gave a lot of suggestions and insights to small business owners.

From our Orientation all the way through to our Externship, I felt a bond with the entire staff! I have to give a personal shout out to Ruthy Rodriguez, Admissions Recruiter who was so personable over the phone, that it made me want to visit the campus in person. Ruthy was so welcoming and supportive, my intention was to just visit and think about what I wanted to do next, but I felt the connection and I knew in my heart that my future was in the right hands! An 8 month program that would change my life in unimaginable ways, a new career path and stream of income! Campus Department Chair, Miss Watley is absolutely amazing, my instructors, Miss Carter and Miss Middleton, knowledgeable and caring, and did their best to prepare us for the real world of dentistry! Our class was a tight knit group and I look forward to seeing everyone at Graduation!

I just got my check for all the money I that was taken from my taxes don't pay off the debt or else you won't be able to get that money back. The sad thing about it is that it still took me six years to fight it. Yeah, the money is a blessing to get back, but not the years I lost after that experience I never try to go back to school.

Really trying not to slander this school's name. However, I'm rating this TWO STARS for a reason…read more I'm going to explain my experience professionally and diplomatically as possible to hopefully STOP another "Millennial" or a fresh 18year old from making this fatal MISTAKE! I went to this campus back in 2012. Actually started at the "old" HWOOD/WESTERN campus, which one day just mysteriously "closed" and the staff just as confused as the student's were, only had a paper saying"We're moving to the Huntington Park location" (red flag!) Ok no big deal. At this time I was really, really invested in trying to learn how to be "successful" and decided to roll with the punches and finished my Medical Assistant Class at Huntington. This school is AWESOME at the art of BRAINWASHING. Also when you sign up, it's a HUGE loan for classes and I remember it didn't matter what class you took. You HAD to pay/take out a large loan. Which the counselors explain to you like they work for "FOX NEWS" meaning vaguely explaining exactly how the loans work. After 9 months I "Graduated" and had that fresh outta school hope that all "Millennial's" had. Even got a small externship (On my own. School said they will do that but THEY DON'T) and quickly realized that this school DID NOT PREPARE ME AS THEY PROMISE FOR THE WORKFORCE. Leaving me without a job that I actually went to school for. A FEW QUICK POINTS: 1. Change the AD'S!! The School writes checks that they are unable to cash. Leaving A LOT of people feeling unremembered and screwed over. 2. I say this with love. BY NO MEANS AM I BEING RACIST. However, the school should better explain the field that the student would like to study. I have an example; I choose the Medical Field. I even had a "Black" instructor who has worked in the field. Which is cool. But when I got to my externship I realized the IMPORTANCE of being Bilingual. With all the money the school makes, maybe consider adding some language classes? I pretty much realized that I'm not going to be a MA because I don't speak another language and honestly I'm a "young" black kid just out of school. Not TOO many employers are going to hire me. I'll end this now with some good vibes. The campus at Huntington is actually DOPE. It "feels" like school but you still know your in the hood. I liked it. Loved my instructors. Loved the MA course. Got to "LEARN" life lessons. Which is true. Way more valuable than some paper. Thanks and good luck to you all.

As a fellow yelper said it so well.. are we really going to rate USC on Yelp? LOL!!…read more I am delighted and thrilled to share I am now an alumna of USC. As a yelper here for over 13 years, I don't sugarcoat my words (or in my reviews), and I don't intend to do so here either. The USC program is rigorous and not for everyone. There were so many readings that I often genuinely wondered if it was even humanly possible to get through them all. Granted, I am a slow reader, and that certainly did not help. Beyond the beautiful campus and the prestige that comes with the school, more importantly know that there is no financial aid for tuition fees for master program. Education does not come cheap. Still I am grateful for the learning experience and for my many professors who were simply wonderful and amazing professionals. A big shout out to Dr. Julianna Kirschner, Professor Monica Koyama, Dr. Muthuswamy and Dr. Courtney Pade. P.S. I do wish I had been in the class of Dr. Bracero and Dr. Akira; I have heard so many amazing things about them.

I didn't attend this prestigious University; however, I joke that I am an honorary alumna. My brothers from another mother all graduated from here, and I attend Homecoming with them every year. In fact, I used to work with Eddie Tannenbaum who discovered Traveler (USC's Mascot) when he was a junior in 1961. The campus is beautiful and features several Romanesque Revival style buildings. A portion of the main campus was entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2015. The Coliseum is in walking distance. I've attended many football games here over the years and have seen Clay Matthews, Reggie Bush, Mark Sanchez, & Matt Leinart play. I remember the glory days of Pete Carroll. Our favorite tailgate party is the one hosted by LAMBDA. They have a great DJ, delicious food, a premium bar, fun activities and, of course, fabulous attendees! This year we were treated to yummy eats from Bludso's BBQ & tasty treats by Ice Cream Occasions. When the party was over, we all headed to the Coliseum for the match between the Trojans & the Huskies. Sadly, we lost this game but we will continue to Fight On!
