Time for the annual eye exam so I decided to give Texas Optical a try. I am glad that I did. The…read morescheduler was able to get me an appointment when it was convenient for me. Paperwork was a minimum and they took my vision insurance. The vision tech was nice and Dr. Mark Weidenfeld was very friendly. He explained any issues that he found during the exam and gave me sound recommendations for future treatments. The exam was professional as you would expect. I plan on using this clinic in the future for all of my eye exams. I also looked at the selection of eyewear and found it very good. I am still deciding on new glasses and I will update the review once I decided when or if I need new glasses since my prescription did not change and new glasses are option.

For your business' sake- Please keep an updated list of accepted insurance companies, and don't take it personal when a person, who is new in town, is asking for for glasses and for staff to verify the the customer's coverage. This ship center is unreliable. Our household tries to avoid this ship center if at all possible…read more Two of two shipments since 2013 were not delivered successfully. So, 100% of our service in the past two years has been poor. I do not know if these drivers are overworked and cannot meet the demands or if the center is poorly managed, but there is a consistent breakdown in our shipping track once our packages reach Nacogdoches. The two times this center was used in the past two years was because we had no choice; both times, it was a hassle. (The first time, our package was given to a thief who just drove up but refused to sign or produce ID. He was given our package anyway. The second, the package said "Out for Delivery" for two days with no attempted delivery on the first day.) They either need to hire more drivers, train them better, or pay them more. My guess is all three. I tend to believe that the problem lies with companies or managers who just do not treat people well enough for their performance to matter or who extort employees for their labor without fair compensation. In any case, until FedEx looks into and solves the issues at the Nacogdoches ship center, our household will not be choosing them.

Then while I was driving I noticed a big bright colorful sign, it read Cavender's, so I went to the store and I was feeling excited, I was saved! Note that at this time it was around 7:42 PM and I felt that I was going to be in and out in time for them to be able to peacefully close. I was wrong. It was nearly 18 minutes until closure when I pulled up to the store and saw that they were closing the store early! I understand that some people are exhausted from working for hours on end, but you think they could at least make it clear that there would be an early closure?? what's wrong! Now I was sitting in my car defeated and I just drove back to my apartment. I'm sitting on the office chair I bought a couple of days ago as of right now and realized I will have to attended this gathering shirtless. I come from a very religious family and if I were to come to this gathering looking like i've never stepped outside of my house before my grandparents would be absolutely furious! All because people aren't mindful of others. This is what's wrong with today's world! Society is collapsing!
