I spent a whole weekend calling/stopping by Verizon stores near me (Bethlehem) for a new phone and…read moreplan. The Conover store was the ONLY store that didn't push me onto the new 15, which I specifically said I was not interested in. He did try to show it to me, but I stopped him and he dropped the issue. Other stores wouldn't let it go, like a rabid dog. No means no. The guy at the new 127 store seemed overly knowledgeable about all things cellular and wanted us to know it. It's just a cellphone, I'm 60; I don't care about "5G" (only works in major cities; we're in Hickory) I'm not taking selfies or tic toking (whatever you call it) or doing social media. Just need to make a phone call, text or snap a cute picture of my family get-together to print and frame. FINALLY went to Conover store by old Kmart building. My guy Gabe didn't pressure me into anything and let me "drive" where I wanted to be with my phone and cell plan. Took all of 15 minutes! Setting up/transferring data took about 25-30 min, Ryan helped me with that and we had a great talk about each other and our loved ones-no cell talk! Gave me a deal on my phone and great credit on my trade in. Very pleased w experience. Let's hope the phone doesn't disappoint, and if it does, they'll take it back for something else. AND VERIZON, PLEASE STOP PUSHING PEOPLE INTO THINGS THEY DONT WANT!

Got my back glass "fixed" & didn't notice it didn't fit in my case until I got home because they told me it would be 25 minutes but instead it took an hour, after demanding my phone back 4 times somehow they were magically done, he put the back glass on & rubber bands around it and told me to take them off when I got home. Note there was also glue literally all over my phone because of how rushed they were. When I got home and took the rubber bands off the phone didn't even fit in my $60 CASEMATE case anymore. I came back to give them a chance to make it right & he said he would fix it for half price lol. My phone fell out and broke due to it not fitting in the case all the way. His advice was to pay $50 to fix it again and buy a new case which would put me over $100 AGAIN in less than a week. Apple will not touch the phone due to them touching it so I'm out of a $1,200 phone. Unfortunately for them I would rather pay double what my phone is worth for a lawyer than to let them get away with this. Even if I loose I'll spend the rest of my life warning people of this business. Also edit to add, while I was waiting for my phone they literally told everyone the same price for every device no matter what it is or what happened to it & they hound you to fix it right then and there putting people in the most awkward positions. There's way better places than this one to get your phone fixed in the hickory area.
