Shipping address wasn't entered for a device, a second (thought to be inferior plan) was sent out bc customer service didn't want to do their job. I then had to drive an hour away (to a corporate store) to get it fixed and return a week later to return the extra device sent. I was told I'd receive certain speeds of Hotspot Wi-Fi, when in actuality it would be an additional $120/month to get said speeds. Make sure you get everything in writing!! HORRIFIC Customer Service from manager, Kat. I traded up my phone in store and was told I would…read moreget an $830 credit for my existing phone which he examined to see its condition. Full info was given of how much was needed to pay off my current phone, which I paid on the spot. I was told what my new monthly payment would be based on that credit and payoff and made my decision based on that information. Transaction was signed and done. He said that, as a courtesy, they allow the customer to take home their old phone temporarily to make sure all passwords and info transferred correctly. I returned the phone the next week as promised. At that point, Kat told me that she could verify everything I told her, but that my phone was only worth $350 credit, that the young man had given a deal that had expired the month prior to me coming in. She refused to honor our paperwork and refused to provide info to appeal to a supervisor. The entire time, she talked to me as if I was the one who had misrepresented something, while acknowledging everything asserted was shown on the system. It was like classic bait and switch. Thankfully, AT&T Customer Service number did the right thing and put a credit in our account to bridge the gap between what Kat said would be applied and what the original purchase outlined. There are other places to get AT&T phones, and this location manager did not protect the customer. Even if it was an error on the part of the original employee, do the right thing.
