Apparently, the policy changed on 11/27/2022. I was going to return a few things at this location, where I was greeted by a young lady who proceeded to tell me Michael's Policy has always been you can't return clearance and I stated I had not been in the store for awhile, but I was not aware of that. If you actually look to the end of the receipt, the policy is printed on there. I think it was the way the young lady responded that threw me off, she was a little crass. Apparently, I've not tried to return clearance before because it's only been 3-4 months since I stepped into a Michael's. Needless to say, I genuinely like Michael's, I just wish these younger workers weren't so rude in the way they respond to customers.

They hold a variety of events at the store - for things like Free Comic Book Day, their 1 year anniversary party, and more. They also hold game sessions in the store every Friday evening. They hold a Kid's D&D session every other Friday evening, and on the other alternate Friday evenings - an Adult D&D game night. I've been playing D&D here for the last 7 months or so - loads of fun. They offer a free miniatures painting session every Wednesday evening. They will special order items for you - if they don't have them in stock. I recently took advantage of this and had them order me a copy of the "Pathfinder Player Core" book in hardcover. They are also interested in purchasing comic book, sci-fi, fantasy stuff - so check in with them to see what they are interested in. Kent McKee and Craig Repanshek are the proprietors of the store. Staff was very helpful in letting me see items locked in glass cabinet displays. I purchased The Godfather Tarot and the house blessing on parchment paper. It was very easy to find. If you make a purchase more than $10 you can get a chance to enter a raffle to win a mystery gift. Prices are fair. I almost purchased a journal there yet decided to get it online since it was on sale. The shop has a vast tarot & oracle deck selection with 15% off on clearance items. A metaphysical store worth checking out for Oracle & tarot decks, books, and various items.

I will not purchase anything from this store again. I fought with a paint pen all Friday afternoon…read morebefore giving up and deciding to return it. I took it back and selected 10 other paint to purchase. After waiting 20 minutes for the 2 managers to work in the RC department, one of them finally came up to handle the return. He smashed the tip into the paint pen for five minutes before seeing a trace of paint on the far end of the felt and declared that the pen wasn't returnable "because it's working". I explained that the tip was smashed now and he replied that the tip was already smashed. Frustrated, I told him to give me back the pen ($8.49) and take back the paint I was goint to purchase ($54.90) and that I would never shop there again. It was that simple. I then walked out of the store and promptly threw the defective pen in the trash. Such stupid customer service should not be rewarded by anyone. I would rather order online, pay shipping and wait for delivery than give this store my business again.
