I love supporting local businesses in my college town. I picked up some delicious pies from Sweet Daddy's Pies, some yummy treats from Bliss Treat Bar, and great soaps from Elephantine Mink Soap Co. as well as a lovely man selling goats milk soap - I didn't catch a business name. Such a lovely market! A must visit if you're from or visiting Tuscaloosa. They run the market on Saturdays and Tuesdays in June & July.

We will definitely be back. The River Market Farmers Market is every Saturday morning (7-12) year round. Handicap accessible, grocery carts available. Bring your own bag to help carry things home....
