Even though we frequent this business, I usually forget to check-in and then write a review…read more Fruit and Veg, locally grown as well as far flung places. Organic and non-organic. Read the signage, learn to appreciate the efforts of the farmers and then enjoy the flavors. The prices may appear to be higher than what you might find at your local supermarket, but you get what you pay for. The quality is usually far superior. They also have an extensive selection of cheese, balsamic vinegars, olive oils, dried fruits and nuts. Join their email club and receive a free gift every time you spend more than $30. The Good: *They partner up with lots of local farms, bakeries, and even Burlingame's 157-year-old chocolatier, Guittard. *Transparent labeling about where the products come from. Most stores try and hide it, but Sigona's stands behind it whether it's local or from a different country (e.g., Mexico). *Great selection of fruits and veggies *Also sell meats and locally produced baked goods, like pies and bread. *Friendly service The Meh: *Smallish private parking lot that could fill up during busier times. *Prices aren't cheap but in-line with the typical local farmers market. The Ugly: *Located across the street from the Costco, so it can be a nightmare getting in and getting out of here. Conclusion: Great place for locally produced foods. I wish it was closer to us. =/

I actually enjoyed the Farmer's Market here. I will eventually be checking out the Niles location…read moretoo. It's been awhile since I've visited Farmer's Market locations in the area. This Foster City location had at least 20 vendors open and operating today-Town Center location. They are open only one day right now. Check their schedule. Surprisingly, today/Saturday, they were open 9 AM-1 PM/Town Center area. Not sure if people know this or if the Farmer's Market locations are two different ones. I am writing this review mainly for the Town Center location. Crowds were not too crazy and there are plenty of free public parking lots all around, especially at the hotel side. It's a great place to get some sun and stretch out. You can help donate to Ukraine here, listen to some live music, pick up your favorite local grown organic fruits, vegetables, breads, honey, hummus, and even lunch. Purchased some lovely macarons too. If you want chicken, tacos, ramen, or other street foods, they do have a few booths here. Don't be too surprised. Cost of all foods and goods have risen higher these days, even at Farmer's Markets. Yes, pricey for selective items. I am still glad that they are surviving now, even for one good day per week. If you want to walk over here from the surrounding neighborhoods, definitely do so. Staff and people are friendly. Not too loud or chaotic in the area. Bring cash since not all vendors may accept credit cards. Bring a reusable bag! Love wearing hats outside on sunny days. Smell fresh breads and greens early in the morning. Have a great day!

I was excited to learn they partner with The Butcher's Son for vegan mozzarella and meats. I've been a big fan of The Butcher's Son food for a while, and I love their mozzarella sticks, even though I usually don't like vegan cheese. I went with a medium 1/2 and 1/2 pizza: Vegan Meatzza and Vegan Buffalo Chicken. I also tried the Vegan Cannoli. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived, and they sealed it with a 100% vegan sticker, which I thought was a nice touch. I really enjoyed both flavors! It's tough to pick a favorite between the two, but the pepperoni on the meatzza was delicious, and the buffalo and ranch combo on the buffalo chicken was tasty. Surprisingly, my favorite was the cannoli. Even though I usually prefer savory over sweet, the cannoli was amazing. I loved every bite, though I think adding chocolate chips to the filling would have made it even better. Overall, it was a 10 out of 10 experience! I can't wait to try other vegan pizza combos.

The pizza was pretty solid, but the real surprise was how excellent the onion rings were. Honestly some of the better ones I've had out to eat. Well seasoned and battered, and came with a really tasty ranch dipping sauce. I'd come back just for those to be honest haha.
