DO NOT CALL! There was this social worker, Samantha Steiner of Buffalo, NY who was spreading my business to alot of people! She was very unprofessional and dressed inappropriately. Then I found out she was sleeping with my ex who at the time was in a relationship with me. I would give 0-stars if I could! Also using a friend's account so that my real name stays as private as possible, other than what she already put out there. I even called to complain about her and she still works there! Then she ended up coming back and ultimately, she started a long chain of events that led to me getting my kids temporarily removed from me! She ruined my life in more ways than just gossiping about me and my life! read more

This is exactly what the name implies. Its a non profit in the WNY area that helps people in crisis. Domestic violence, mental health, homelessness, kids in crisis and more. They do it all. They have 24 hour hotlines for Erie and Chautauqua counties both. Different numbers for kids. Their mission statement, copied from website: Crisis Services is dedicated to promoting the health, safety and well being of the community through prevention, education, immediate intervention and access to community wide resources 24 hours a day. crisisservices.org My experience with them has been as a volunteer. I have become involved in a few ways, but one of them is all the hotel shampoo bottles and the like have found their way here. Its great, they are so appreciated and needed. Any unopened shampoos, soaps, body wash etc you have is welcome here. They are also always happy to receive baby and toddler related items. So if you find yourself cleaning out a bathroom cupboard or moving on baby things, pass by here and drop them off. read more

This is a complete joke. I have never been more disappointed in my entire life. Every time I call you people for help no one gets back to me period on June 14th my phone was disconnected and I was not able to call. Long story short I ended up in the hospital for two whole weeks and missed so much work I can't even pay my rent for July. You people are horrible at your jobs. I would rather get Crisis Prevention help from people at McDonald's on Grider. Any suicides or domestic violence in Buffalo New York or the result of your failure. Matter of fact, my counselor even reach out to you guys at 2 p.m. to call me back because I was going through an emergency it is now 3:03 and no one has called me. I will spend everyday till I die letting people know how horrible this service is. read more

Crisis Services has a huge range of offerings from mobile outreach, to a 24 hour hotline, and rape crisis advocacy. The employees are committed to resolving issues for their clients both short and long term. They're also very knowledgeable about other agencies/service providers in the area that could be helpful to clients. read more

Never use crisis services. I have met a few of there workers and they have all harassed me, crisis services has never helped me they only make my problems worse. They need to be shout down. read more

I have called them several times to access someone with paranoid schizophrenia. They have very poor assessment skills and are asking a delusional individual who has auditory hallucinations if they are suicidal. If anything happens to this individual because of they lack of training i will file a law suit! I won't be calling again I find them worthless and this is from someone who did an internship with them. read more
