If this is the same company I used for a small bath? ( Dave Crockett ) it was the worst job I've ever seen and charged me 10k. Never again!

We hired Crockett Construction to finish our basement. Todd, the owner, sat down with us initially and provided a blueprint of the entire project. He used an iPad interactively to make revisions, which really helped us since we're visual people. We were constantly updated with the status of the progress (thanks to Dave, our "project manager") and there was always a clear line of open communication. He was recommended by our insurance company for weather related drywall repairs. The job done in July, 14 was less than satisfactory. The laborer decided not to use a drop cloth which resulted in paint on the carpet, wood trim, furniture and cabinets. The paint lines are not even and splattered with opposing colors. Some drywall repairs are wavy and stand out from the flat surface of the wall. The first couple of hours, they sent a crew, after that everyone left and one, newly hired, inexperienced, laborer remained who wasn't told the scope of work. In scheduling, he wanted us to use a subcontractor, but we thought, his company was the one recommended by the insurance, it should be his company to do the work. We did not know that he did not have the expertise, nor the staff to do the project as it was bid. We did inform the insurance company so hopefully this won't happen to another unsuspecting consumer. read more

Crockett did an addition to our house which included master bathroom and bedroom, family room, and 2nd story bedrooms. The proposal we received from Crockett was fairly priced, very detailed and contained all the information we needed to make a decision. Todd was very responsive to all of our questions, and returned our calls promptly. There were no hidden costs or surprises. The work was done neatly and on time. The workers were trustworthy and professional. Most problems were resolved quickly. Todd put in extra effort to make sure that the supplies and materials used in our project were exactly as we wanted. Crockett Construction is the only contractor that we will ever use again. They are knowledgeable in all aspects of construction and have a crew that is highly skilled. From carpentry, to drywall, to paint, they give you a high quality product that you will be proud of. Last year they remodeled our basement which was a complete gut job. We added a bathroom and moved walls for the layout we wanted. Throughout entire project, the crew was respectful of our house and kept it very clean and safe for our family. They gave us ideas and communicated what was going on the whole time. We just had them remodel our entire upstairs with new doors, trim, drywall repair, and paint. Wow!!! Im not sure how someone who hasn't even dealt with a company can write a review! I too had a remodeling project done by Crockett Construction. Not only were they completely knowledgeable they were also reliable. My project went smoothly and we couldn't be happier with our perfectly finished basement!
