They removed all the crumbling concrete steps, porch pad, rotted wood supports and frail metal railings. They were able to reenforced the existing brick base and ceiling supports, reducing my costs. They framed, and rebuilt with cedar beams/ railings and finished with a beautiful, durable composite wood flooring. The detail of the craftsmanship on the custom cedar railings and posts are amazing. Demo and rebuild were completed in the estimate that was given of 3 weeks. I showed John a picture of how I wanted it, and he and his team did the rest! Seamless from beginning to end. Bayer Builders dealt with all the permitting and inspections and helped me pick out materials (offering low- and high-end pricing). They consulted with me throughout the project, with very little effort on my part to get this massive project completed. He did an excellent job. He didn't rush and I was very happy with his work and very please as I looked at the finishing touches. Our kitchen was in need of a face lift after we built our home in 1998. The kitchen cabinet doors…read morewere warped and the hinges, knobs and handles were badly worn. But the cabinets themselves were in perfect condition since we upgraded them to birch instead of oak during construction. I had been researching getting just new doors and after many quotes it seemed impossible. Many of the companies that quoted us told us that we needed a full remodel which would be in the $50k range. Finally I found Custom Wood Cabinet Refacing and connected with Ray Liston. He asked me for pictures and after setting an appointment he came out with some door samples. The doors were exceptionally well made. We chose the honey maple with glazing to get a 2 dimensional effect with the existing birch cabinets. I ordered the cabinets in April and installation day was June 16th. Prior to that Ray came back with a sample door to make sure I was happy. Then I had the task of finding new knobs and handles which I decided to play up the stainless trim on my appliances and my stove. On installation day some drawer fronts were missing but Jack quickly acted on this and completed the job...less than one week later. To say that we are happy is an understatement. It has given our kitchen the facelift it needed and with the lighting and granite countertops we installed this year you can now see the beauty of the kitchen!! Run to this company and save yourself money!!! If you have imagination and want to give your kitchen a facelift at a fraction of what a new kitchen costs you have found the right company.
