I really like the people there so I hate to say don't go, but this is a service so I'm reviewing purely on that. My hand tattoos are having blowouts. The ink is bleeding bad on my left pinky and it's the second time. Also this was the touch up after two weeks, which I ended up having to pay because the person who did them originally didn't work there anymore, and I still had to pay to get them redone. Needless to say I'm not thrilled with the results, I probably will do laser removal and do more research because this impulse tattoo decision did not go as planned. I came here after the I accidentally missed my appointment at another studio. I was a walk in and I came in with a sketch of a teeeny lavender tattoo with 3 hearts. ( favorite number is 3, each heart is one of my siblings, my grandpas favorite number is 3). I explained my sketch to the artist ( I forget their name). He could tell I was nervous and was super nice and welcoming to me! He asked me if it was my first tattoo ( it is) and was very gentle about the process. He took my sketch to the back and worked on it and came back with this bigger, bolder, and more refined design. To be honest, the first night I was super scared it was too big but I am in love with the design now! It reminds me every day of the growth I've had and love I am surrounded with by my family and the wisdom of my grandpa. I don't know if I have a high pain tolerance or what he( the artist) did, but it didn't even hurt!!! I got it back in august 2022 and it's now April 2023, and it still looks as good as the first night I got it. He gave me clear instructions on how to make sure it healed nicely. 10/10 would recommend. Very nice place, clean, loved the artist, loved how welcoming everyone was. read more

I typically am very iffy about Tattoo Shops in Queens especially in Corona. Because most tattoo shops around here are not very welcoming, at least from my experience. Crop Circles Tattoos has to be hands down the most inviting, clean, and most professional tattoo shop I have visited in Corona. From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a smile. I walked in with my friend so she can get pierced and walked out with an AWSOME tattoo. I showed them a picture of the tattoo I wanted and told Michael (one of the tattoo artist) that he can put his own spin on it. I got a zombie candy corn. When he showed me what he did with it, it was like if he knew exactly what was going on in my head. It was perfect! 100 times better than the original picture I showed him. I was really nervous but Michael made me feel so comfortable and allowed me to take breaks as needed. His work is insane. The line work, shading, everything was on point. Out of all my tattoos I have this is the BEST one to date, cannot wait until it heals. Michael is super talented; he will definitely be seeing me again. Not the best of experiences. Left my deposit for a tattoo. Had to switch my time from the original time to a later time that same day. That turned into a nightmare. Couldn't reach the tattoo artist by calling the shop because they never answer the phone and although I did try to set up a new time via Instagram 4 days prior to my time for the artist he didn't reply to me until the day of and an hour after my originally scheduled time and date. And it became a back and forth of one word answers and a verbal bureaucracy that ultimately got nothing done. didn't get a great vibe with the artist after all this and I'll just chalk up my deposit loss to unprofessionalism. I work at a strip club and already had 6 people lined up and ready to see my new tattoo and head over if it had worked out. Guess not. Lesson learned about going to local tattoo shops I guess. read more

I recently got a tattoo done at this place, big mistake. The tattoo was suppose to be an owl it looks like a retarded bird! Im warning everyone that comes across this place, PLEASE KEEP AWAY! I wish i could give this shop a 0!! The experience here is very bad! I came in got a tattoo by Miguel he took 7 hours and i paid 500$ for a shitty tattoo! Then i went in the next morning and spoke to the dave and he was saying how the tattoo looks good and i should be grateful to get such a tattoo! And i broken down crying because i kept on telling him that the tattoo its not what i wanted and that i was very upset!! He kept on saying how i made the artist "nervous" thats was why the tattoo is not complete: if you're a professional then there is no need to be nervous! I was tattooed by Kelvin in this shop (a purple beautiful rose). This was my second tattoo done by him, the first tattoo was done when he worked at another shop (an elephant tattoo). I definitely was happy to hear he was back in NY because K is a tattoo artist who listens to what you want, gives good suggestions and takes his time! He does not rush, makes sure you are comfortable and gets it done! Of course, tattoos hurt but he definitely gives advice and provides great feedback on ways to avoid some pain. Getting a tattoo is a big deal. Knowing and trusting your tattoo artist is a big deal as well. Dave is that one tattoo artist that gives you all attention, has great attention to detail, talks about the design, tells you what he thinks, and performs so gracefully. I've gotten 6 tattoos from Crop Circles Tattoos and all from Dave and each tattoo is absolutely fantastic. The last tattoo I got was a cover up tattoo, it took about an hour to discuss the design and 3 hours to do the entire make of the tattoo. My family and friends are amazed of the cover up. The artistry and the intricate work that he put on my tattoo - from the gentleness of his hands to the lovely conversations when getting inked. My experience with Dave and at Crop Circles Tattoos was so wonderful. I am beyond satisfied and so happy with all 6 of what I've gotten. And looking forward to more!
