It did not have a good charge when we picked it up; one trip from the north to the south end of the island took over half the battery. It had to charge constantly. No way to see or hear if the manual-cancel turn signals were on or not. When I was buckled into the wildly uncomfortable seat belt, I could not reach the console or my phone. A four-seat cart was over $100 a day in non-peak late April.

Unfortunately we only had 15 minutes to shop as the store closed at 2 pm not 3pm as stated on their Yelp page. Therefore I shot an update to Yelp quickly to update. Once inside the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the golf carts. Truthfully most of the information went over my head when it came to the battery life. I just look for seats that will be comfortable. There was one in a Teal green that was redone with beautiful quilted seats. I am assuming leather but maybe not to take all that direct sunlight without fading. Beautiful selections but price's definitely reflect it. $$$$$

It has to be plugged in at night so they brought the battery charger and even stopped and bought a new extension cord. The battery wasn't fully charged but charged enough to get 4 of us around until we finished for the day. I highly recommend renting your cart from Sea Island. I rented one in the past from a place downtown Beaufort a few years ago and it was junk. I had the opposite with this company. We tried to book 3 golf carts with Orion, but they only had two.  They misunderstood my email telling them I needed three and delivered only two. I called them immediately upon arrival to tell them to pick them up. They picked up the carts immediately and said they would refund our money. (I offered them 1 day rental for the delivery.) They then reneged on their offer and charged us for the full week!  USE SEASIDE!

I would not recommend Coast-to-Coast Golf Cart Rentals in Tybee Island…read more I booked a 6-passenger golf cart online on June 19 and even called the next day to verbally confirm that my reservation was valid. We were scheduled to pick it up on July 3 for our vacation. Instead, on July 2--the day before pickup--they called and canceled my reservation, blaming it on an issue with their website. After reading other reviews and talking to people on the island, it sounds like this has happened to other customers and is not a new problem. If the website is known to overbook or accept reservations that can't be honored, that issue should have been fixed long ago instead of leaving customers scrambling at the last minute. Because my reservation was canceled just one day before we were supposed to pick it up, every other golf cart rental company was already fully booked. We ended up going without a golf cart for our vacation, which was extremely disappointing. If you're planning a trip to Tybee Island and need a golf cart, I'd be very cautious about relying on a reservation here.
