Great that it was open as everyone else in the area was closed. The owner was very knowledgeable about the carts he has on hand. Which was a combination new, used and one on loan lease from a customer trying to sell their current one. What I learned from this visit I will probably have to find a wrap shop to custom our purchase to reflect me and my husband. That way it won't get lost in the crowd at our new home. Will wait until after we close on our new home to make our final decision. It is like a kid in a candy store as you truly can love them all.

At other dealerships we were quoted a price well below the MSRP on the factory's website. However, that didn't include sales tax...and dealer prep fee plus shipping to the dealership plus delivery plus whatever other fees they could make up. Stacy kept it simple, price plus sales tax. Stacy was also very honest about the product. He clearly likes it and is proud to sell it. At the same time, he pointed out a few deficiencies, like the exposed rear camera wiring, and recommended solutions. Solutions, by the way, that he did not sell. How's that for honestly! He also shared feedback that he had received from other owners, like making sure that the 2+2 would fit under the garage door and meet the cart requirements in our neighborhood. We felt that he was really trying to educate us and helping us make the best decision. Lastly, Stacey doesn't put his logo decals all over the cart like some of the dealerships!

Judy said she could put an ernclosure on the cart just like the one we were turning in. It isn't even close. When we got the cart back and I rolled the enclosure down among other things the rear cover is not cut to fit over the trunk. The plastic part of the rear enclosure blurs the rear camera and approx. 12" on each side is to short to meet and zip to the side pannels. When I discovered this I went over to talk with Judy. When I told here about this her response was "Don't you worry about this, we are going to make it right, wee will take care of this" Later that day one of the mechanics took measurements. Approx a week later I asked about the status. Defensively Judy said they have sent the lady that makes thes covers an email but hasn't heard back. Given the change in tone of in her voice I will be curious to see how this shakes out. Stay tuned.

It did not have a good charge when we picked it up; one trip from the north to the south end of the island took over half the battery. It had to charge constantly. No way to see or hear if the manual-cancel turn signals were on or not. When I was buckled into the wildly uncomfortable seat belt, I could not reach the console or my phone. A four-seat cart was over $100 a day in non-peak late April.

It has to be plugged in at night so they brought the battery charger and even stopped and bought a new extension cord. The battery wasn't fully charged but charged enough to get 4 of us around until we finished for the day. I highly recommend renting your cart from Sea Island. I rented one in the past from a place downtown Beaufort a few years ago and it was junk. I had the opposite with this company.
