It's a small farm, but the family who runs it is super friendly and helpful. It's 30 cents a pound, which is cheaper than some of the other farms in the area. We got a couple of huge pumpkins and some small ones too and everything came out to about $18-we thought it was a great deal and experience. I highly recommend this place if you want to support small businesses and avoid crowds.

If you're planning on visiting, make a reservation for ether a group or private tour. The group tour is $15 per person while the private tour is $150 for the entire group. The only drawback with the group tour is you don't know how many people might be in it. We had almost 40 in our group and that was a bit too many in my opinion. When you arrive, check-in is inside the red barn. They'll let you know which group tour you belong to. They have port o' potties and hand washing stations behind the barn. If you end up getting any food from the food truck (ostrich sliders and ostrich philly steak style sandwiches), you can bring it into the barn where there's picnic style tables and benches. The "gift shop" is also inside the barn. If you do come on wet day or after it rains, be sure to wear appropriate shoes...it can get muddy as you walk from one animal area to another.

Their tour was running late- by late I mean 40 minutes... so we had to shuffle things around party wise. The tour consists I of seeing the animals. Didn't realize that the Ostrich were there for lol meat purposes. During the tour kiddos got to feed them. They have a few different areas to roam, with some tables. It's a decent sized place. I think it could use some TLC though.

Let's be perfectly honest, there aren't a lot of pumpkin patches near this area that are this much fun. Their hay ride is fast and wild and you get to chuck pumpkins at things! Their pumpkin train is also fast and fun and has cushioned seats! There are goats to love, face painting, a hay maze, the classic corn maze and the pumpkin slingshots are hard to walk away from. The produce is high quality and well priced. The haunted experience was extensive, it goes around the whole farm so it's like doing multiple haunted houses. The actors were awesome. They take into consideration the best way to have fun and there is obvious love in this endeavor. Right under I5, the space is utilized to it's last inch and conveniently located. This is a Herd Share business. If your not familiar with it it's like a CSA farm that drops off…read morefresh produce weekly only in a herd share you buy a share of a cow and get fresh raw milk every week. It's biased out of Cottage Grove but delivers to Eugene and other areas. The cows are Jersey Cows, different than the cows making store bought milk. They produce less milk and hence it is a richer milk. After it sits the cream rises to the top. It is not pasteurized or homogenized and hers sharing is the only way you can get raw milk. If you haven't tasted this kind of milk you can't believe the difference. I'm so glad they started doing this in Eugene. We have been going crazy with it making our own butter, yogurt, and cheese. Although we can get butter and creme delivered too. We have even taken the left over milk whey from our cheese making and make lactose fermented pickles which are near impossible to buy. They are made without vinegar. Instead you add some whey to the brine and the leftover cheese bacteria in the whey take off on the vegetables and ferment them producing acid like the acid in the vinegar.They are fresh crunchy with the slight zing and a more complex flavor than vinegar pickles So far we have made pickles out of cucumbers, beets, zucchini, sauerkraut and catchup.
