This gym is a beacon of light for the community. Yes, it's pristinely clean, has excellent equipment, is well-ventilated ... sure. But it's much more than that. Everyone who works here is so kind, respectful, and inspiring that it attracts a wide variety of members -- all ages, occupations, and fitness levels. From the first day I attended CrossFit classes, I felt welcomed by all and encouraged to participate at my own pace. As a somewhat nervous beginner, it was a relief. In the following weeks, attending classes regularly (3x/week), I found that every single coach is likeable and superb at their jobs, including the owner, KD. They tailor the day's program to fit each person's ability, so you never feel left behind or lost. You're cared for here. Even small accomplishments are celebrated by coaches and fellow members alike, and it engenders a camaraderie that stays with you. I have a new confidence in my physical abilities and a far expanded sense of my own limits. I am especially grateful for how it's impacted other areas of my life, giving me the strength and impetus to explore new interests - athletic and otherwise. It's been an unexpected gift. Joining CrossFit Belgrade was one of the best decisions I've made for myself. I was intimidated by the word CrossFit but I have never been part of such an amazing, supportive and fun group of people. The workouts are challenging but can be scaled for all skill levels. The coaches are fantastic, knowledgeable and are dedicated to you and your goals. A year and a half ago when I joined, I was at my heaviest and I am now down 20+ lbs and was able to stop taking medication for prediabetes and depression.
