The gym is perfect size and always clean, friendly and reasonable in cost. We ended up getting a year membership after having tried a month or two. You can set up to have a PT come in and work with you or you can go in your own. The patrons are very nice and respectful of the equipment/time in use. The only thing we wish was that there were longer hours on Saturdays and open on Sundays. Especially for the athletes that commit to a 7 day workout or gym rats who start their days every day at the gym! Great hours during the week though! It's kind of like the Cheers bar in that everybody seems to know everybody, but even a visitor like me was welcomed. Another good point is that you can get a decent daily/weekly rate if you're just in town for a short stay.

Steve has been my trainer for 5 months now and he's amazing!! When we first started my knees hurt with a lot of the exercises and he customized them so I could do them without knee pain. He's great at his job and makes strength training fun (I normally hate strength training). Since I'm there a lot I'm familiar with the other trainers (Becca- the owner and Hudson) and they're all great!! I will keep going here indefinitely and would highly recommend this place.

I joined in mid February and have had overwhelmingly positive interactions with the coaches & members every single day since. Having moved here March 2020 and continuing to work from home the last two years, joining this community has been a blessing in ways I hadn't even expected but truly appreciate. One of the owners, Christine, was kind and welcoming from the first email interaction through when I actually stepped foot in the gym. She continues to be a supportive coach who meets me where I'm at and challenges me to keep progressing. Jamie is the other owner who is always willing to give me feedback on form and assist me while I become more confident in the various lifts - which is so helpful! Kelsey is the coach who trained me 1:1 in the very beginning (which was beneficial beyond measure!) and continues to provide encouragement and inspiration. The other coaches I've had the chance to interact with periodically are equally as lovely - the culture here simply cannot be beat. If you've ever considered Cross Fit but were intimidated or heard mixed messages - I invite you to join this gym for a class to see what it's all about. And while this isn't the closest location to me, I'm so glad I followed the hunch & made this gym my own. I look forward to showing up each class, knowing I'll be challenged through an intentionally programmed workout surrounded by people of all fitness levels. I showed up at the noon class, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. After signing in and a brief tour, I was ready to go. While I expected a good workout, I did not expect the amount attention I received from the coaching staff. Even though I was only there for one day, I was treated as an equal. Upon finishing the workout, I was excited to buy a T-shirt to thank this box for the experience. CFW has the very best coaching I've had other than my own home box. I encourage anyone living or visiting the Wilmington area to go check them out. You will not be disappointed!
