Staff is friendly and the gym is secure. My favorite workouts so far are yoga, cycling and barre none. You're working out in a small infrared sauna led by trainers on the monitor. You will be drenched in sweat and the after workout burn will be calculated on your workout device (like an Apple Watch).

If you're an overstimulated mom who needs a little…read morebit of alone time but also want to do something good for your body this place is for you. Heck, if you're just someone who enjoys working out in peace in a respectful environment where everyone minds their business, wipe down their machines, spray essential oils in your workout sauna room after their workouts as a courtesy.... This place is for you! What it is- hotworx in hutto has 8 sauna rooms and each room is designed to fit 3 people at a time. 4 of those rooms are dedicated to isometric workouts (these are 40 minute classes of yoga, barre, Pilates, core, glutes, warrior/intense yoga, and ISO/isometric) and the other 4 classes are for HIIT (2 spinning classes, rower, and assault bikes). The back portion of the gym is called their FX area, it has free weights, a bench, and some other gym items. There are 2 bathrooms and one has a shower for your convenience. The gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In order to get in you have to have an app with an entry code assigned specifically to you so I always feel very safe even when I'm alone in there. Yes, the rooms fit 3 people so theoretically you could have strangers in there with you but I have not once had to share a sauna room with someone else. I think everyone enjoys having their own space and even if someone did join in I wouldn't mind. Be prepared to sweat!!! The saunas go up to 130 degrees and though that sounds intense you'll get used to it and learn to love it. Membership is $59 a month for just the Hutto location or for $79 monthly you can workout at any Hotworx location and you get an online trainer and a diet tracker. You do need to purchase their mat and yoga towel- please do the Hotworx branded ones. I tried buying an extra towel on Amazon because I thought it would be the same and it's not the same grip. The scheduling for classes is super easy on the app. If you cancel a class or miss, no big whoop, no charge (ahem, looking at you OTF... $10 a cancellation? Yeah, no.) Schedule a free class! I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do! (IMPORTANT- if you decide to try it out hydrate the day prior, that morning, and during your workout. Truuuust me.)

I was visiting AF in Texas Round rock and, while the facility itself has potential, my experience…read moreraised serious concerns about fairness, communication, and overall professionalism. I was reminded by Sergi to return a farmer's rack to its proper place, which I understand and take responsibility for. Once it was explained, I made it clear that I would follow protocol moving forward. However, what I found unnecessary was the constant follow up through text messages. Even after acknowledging the issue and agreeing to correct it, I continued to receive a second reminder. At that point, it stopped feeling like a simple clarification and started to feel like harassment. On top of that, there is a larger issue with equipment access. There is only one Smith machine, and during my workout it was occupied for an extended period by a trainer and her group. When I raised the concern, I was told by Sergi that trainers have priority because their clients pay both a training fee and a membership. As a paying visitor, that was frustrating to hear. Whether someone is a member or a guest, everyone is paying to use the facility and should have reasonable access to equipment. First come first serve is understandable, but allowing one group to dominate a single high demand machine without rotation makes it difficult for others to complete their workouts. I was told I could ask to work in, which I will do next time, but there should also be some level of awareness and courtesy from trainers and their groups when using limited equipment. Additionally, the ladies made the environment extremely loud, which made it difficult to focus and train effectively. I am more than willing to respect gym policies, but I also expect clear, respectful communication and fair access to equipment in return. Hopefully Mr. Sergi takes a closer look at both how members are addressed and how shared space is managed, because the current approach does not reflect well on the gym.

I've always had positive experiences respectful staff, professional communication, and a welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, that was not the case at this location. Today I forgot to re-rack a curl bar. I normally always re-rack my weights, but this time I genuinely forgot. As I was walking out, an employee stopped me and said, "Hey, is this you?" referencing the curl bar. I immediately apologized and told him it was my mistake. What made the situation uncomfortable was what happened next. He pulled up camera footage and proceeded to look me up in the system, mentioning that I was visiting from California. The speed and manner in which he accessed my information felt excessive and unnecessary for what was a simple oversight that I had already taken responsibility for. There's a professional way to handle situations like this a simple reminder would have been sufficient. Instead, the interaction felt investigative and awkward. I won't be returning to this location. Thankfully, I have access to a gym at my condo complex and won't need to deal with that kind of environment again. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled in the future, because it doesn't reflect the positive experiences I've had at other Anytime Fitness locations.

It's not a cheap gym membership but I look at it as an investment in my health. Monday, Wednesday, Friday are cardio days, Tuesday and Thursdays are resistance days and Saturday is the only hour long workout that is a combo of both. I love that all the workouts are functional meaning they resemble movements you do everyday. Just like an athlete trains for their sport, people should train for activities they do everyday like pushing, pulling, squatting and jumping rather than solely train isolated movements. One thing that really stands out to me about F45 is the individual attention each member receives from the trainers. They pay attention so that they can correct your form, challenge you and encourage you to give 110% every time. There's been countless times when Trainer Jane sees me slowing down and will get down on the ground and do the exercise with me all the way to the end. When I'm getting tired and think I'll just take it easy, Trainer Andrea levels me up and pushes me to my highest potential. I highly recommend getting the heart rate monitor because it really does motivate you during class to see how hard you're working. You also get workout reports at the end of each class emailed to you, so it's nice to see how you performed during class. They also offer the 8 Week Challenge 4 times throughout the year, which I highly recommend trying! Members and nonmembers can participate in the challenge. You will workout at F45, be given a nutrition guide and plenty of support throughout the 8 weeks and will be have your body composition taken every 2 weeks. I have never been able to make a difference in my body composition and after this challenge I was finally able to lose fat while gaining muscle!

Be Careful: Billing and Contract Issues…read more I have been a strong supporter of OrangeTheory, but after my recent conversation with Anthony, Regional Manager, with the Round Rock location, my wife and I have decided not to renew our memberships. I initially signed up under a promotion described as "pay for one month and get two months free." However, I later discovered that I had been enrolled in a 12-month contract. When I requested cancellation, I was informed that the previous manager, Jay, did some shady stuff and had offered deals that he was not authorized to sell. Upon learning this, I immediately submitted written notice to cancel -- more than 30 days before the end of the three-month period. Despite this, I was charged for an additional month. I was also billed on March 1, even though the studio manager, Britany, had confirmed in writing that billing would not occur until March 15. In fact, based on the timeline, the next legitimate billing date should have been April 1. However, since I canceled my membership more than 30 days in advance, I should not have been billed at all. Additionally, I was told by the regional manager that if I hold a membership at the Round Rock studio, I cannot attend the Pflugerville studio. This was surprising and unclear, as I was clearly communicated at the time of signup that I can do so. In fact, their app does allow me schedule sessions in Pflugerville. Can someone confirm, if the regional manager is saying the truth? Overall, this experience reflects poor communication and inconsistent billing practices. As a business owner and someone who has worked with Fortune 100 companies, I believe this situation could have been handled far more transparently and professionally. I would encourage prospective members to carefully review all terms before signing up, and not trust them on the face value. Additionally, you can also explore other options in the neighborhood. #RoundRockTX #PflugervilleTX #RoundRockFitness #MembershipCancellation #BillingIssue #ContractTransparency #OrangeTheory #OrangeTheoryFitness #OrangeTheory Round Rock membership cancellation #OrangeTheory billing practices #Round Rock gym contract terms #Pflugerville OrangeTheory access policy

There is a basketball gym for shooting hoops, an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna, steam room, and an outdoor fitness area with weights and a small turf area for active exercise. What I like about this place is that they have lots of machines for working out your major muscle groups ESPECIALLY for your back. Plenty of high row, mid row, pull up bars, and various back other machines. Most of the equipment are well maintained with the exception of some ripped material in a couple. Everyone here is very nice and it's great to see everyone clean after themselves after working out. They have plenty of antibacterial wipes throughout the gym for people to wipe their station down. The price is very reasonable and towel service is included which is a great perk. Compared to the other gyms, this is the most clean and modern gym I've been to. My only nit pik is the men's bathroom. It can get a little smelly because there doesn't seem to be much ventilation. Not much they can do, but maybe install a air freshener machine that sprays from time to time.
