My younger daughter joined Chesterbrook after coming from a very negative previous school…read moreenvironment across town. The principals here literally bent over backwards to get my daughter into the school. They offered a promotional rate for several months as well as no enrollment fee and made some adjustments to make room for her in the class. We are beyond impressed with their caring and the education she is receiving. It is so clean and our child is so happy. We look forward to having our older daughter start camp here this summer as well. Thank you so much for being so great!!

Chesterbrook Academy, Newtown is absolutely the best daycare center. I've had both of my girls…read morehere since they were infants. My older daughter is now 4 and my younger daughter is 2 and they are still there and thriving. The teachers here are outstanding. And there's been very little teacher turnover (my 2 yr old has had the same teachers that my 4 yo had). They are caring, attentive, nurturing and know the smallest details about your child...it shows the level of care and attention that is paid to the children. My girls have also learned so much here. They have a solid "curriculum" for each of the classrooms. My 4 yr old knows all her letters by sight and can write them all. She's starting to write words now too. She can also count in Spanish and knows her colors and other random Spanish words. I researched daycare centers high and low prior to selecting Chesterbrook. They have exceeded my sky high expectations. I couldn't recommend them more.

He is learning so much... how to write his name , when his birthday is... how to sing the alphabet and I'm sure many other things he just comes home and surprises me every day.. this school couldn't have been a better decision . His teacher ms.Sheri is the best. She is so patient & you can tell that she loves what she does ! That makes me feel alot better knowing he is in good hands while im at work. I'm very happy and will be sending my other kids here in the future.

Since then, he has thrived thanks to the warm, nurturing care provided by everyone at The Learning Experience - Hopewell. I have cherished every drop-off and pick-up, where smiles and a palpable sense of community greet me. We decided to start the au pair process before fully realizing the impact and quality of care here, and I only wish we had come here first. While we are committed to our current path, we hope that our son will return soon, where he can reunite with the teachers and friends who have supported his growth and development and brought us so much joy.

If I had neuro-typical child, this school would be my first choice because their teaching method is truly the best at developing young minds. I need to note that my son attended this school with a highly trained aid. There are 18 kids in a classroom with 3 teachers. It is unfair and unrealistic to expect extra time be given to any one student on a daily basis. My son's participation worked at this school because his aid ensured that he was not a constant disruption to the classroom. The teachers were incredibly supportive of my son and his aid; he eventually worked seamlessly into the classroom with minimal assistance from his aid. Overall, this is a fantastic school. If your child has special needs, this school can be fantastic....but they cannot be expected to "treat" a child beyond that which a normal, non special education teacher, would do. However, they were very willing to work with my son and his aid, to the extent that it did not interfere with the other children. I found their approach very reasonable. Fun Side Note: The teachers were so happy with my son's aid that they sent her flowers at the end of the school year. She was really touched (as was I).

Before becoming a parent I saw the insides of many preschool classrooms working with early intervention. I've never seen a school with this atmosphere and kids really do learn how to be a friend. The yellow box is an amazing concept. It changes every week for imaginative play. It could be a boat , a store, a cave... so many fun things that get the kids learning and playing together. Not many schools use the materials they use for learning. They have a work bench where the children can hammer and saw. The playground has a big sandbox, lots of swings, natural climbing surfaces and more fun things to do. Its nice to be able to stay and play afterward. You get to know the classmates and family of the class. I can't recommend it enough.
