The care I receive from Dr Barlow and his staff is second to none. I highly recommend this clinic.read more

I went to this place one time and it was the most bizarre experience that I have ever incurred…read more Reminded me of a used car salesman. There is a reason that he has a top selling book. He gives one to every customer which is figured into the cost of the first office visit. First, they do not accept insurance and you get a discount if you pay in cash. Red Flag #1. I do believe they accept Medicare and Medicaid which was apparent by the clientele by my observation. Red flag #2. I go back to have X-rays performed. The X-ray machine looked to be an antique model. Then I am taken to a room and my X-rays were pulled up on a digital monitor. My thoughts were, how did that stone aged X-ray machine produce digital images. Then Dr. Andy comes in and starts going over my X-ray's and blood work. Red Flag #3. Why does a chiropractor need my blood work? So, he proceeds to tell me that I have severe kidney and liver problems and if I did not get those issues under control that I was going to die. Then he proceeds to go over my blood work and suggest that my blood panel was terrible and that is the reason for my liver and kidney issues. He went as far as to suggest that my primary care provider should be turned into the state board for malpractice. Red Flag#4. A chiropractor was wanting to treat me for my apparent liver and kidney issues. I declined and suggested that I was only there for chiropractic issues. Then he moves to a treatment plan that was going to take roughly a year. The plan cost was going to be $7-$9k out of pocket. My response was that I would consider it. So, then, I thought I was being taken for adjustments. Nope, no adjustments. As a matter of fact, I didn't see either doctor do an adjustment in the four hours that I was there. I was just hooked up to several machines by a technician. Moral of the story, i was so freaked out with anxiety after that visit, I went to the ER within two days thinking that I was dying. Red Flag #5. All bloodwork came back fine. After X-rays and a CT, absolutely nothing was seen abnormal. Being that I have a near photographic memory, I had the image memorized in my brain. I swear, I do not believe that Dr. Barlow was even using my X-ray. I very vividly remember the vertebras that he insisted was damaged from a previous car accident and the supposed degenerative disk. I saw none of that on the images taken at the ER. This guy may have thought that I was just an ole country bumpkin but this country bumpkin has two masters degrees and a Ph.D. I know a scam artist when I see one.
