Bur made himself of no reputation, and took on the form of a servant and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in fashion as man HE humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Therefore, GOD has highly exalted HIM and given Him a name which is above every name; that at THE NAME OF JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of God the Father." AMEN! and AMEN! However, if you just want to check religion off your resumé .....I think you get the message. Study Isaiah 53 along with this passage in Philipians 2:5-11. Time is getting short and the days are getting darker. Along with Joshua as he crossed over the Jordan river my confession is this: "Choose this day whom you shall serve. We are ONE Christian Body of Christ, learning the entire book. #2) God told them, "You must without fail give a tenth ["tithe," KJV] of everything your seed produces in the field year by year," which by my calculation is 10%-- Deut. 14:22. #3) I was very involved with this church from 2006- late 2009 before I moved away, yet was born again and saved from the ministry of this church; it is my foundation and in my heart ever since but I tithed what I could, when I could, and God made a way for them through other tithers and they expanded to the new building BECAUSE we had no more room for people lol. I am family because everyone is family at CCNN but by genealogy or DNA I am not related whatsoever. I praised the Lord on the worship team and am so blessed to have felt close to every member whom treated me like family. #5) What a TESTAMENT TO PASTOR TONY that his wife or any literal family member who attends this ministry, or helps out, who shows up because what would it say about PT's work delivering the word if they didnt!! The audacity to call God's calling amongst any of his family to serve, as nepotism. The assumption is ignorance and tells me this reviewer never attended but a few times or less. The concentration of this reviewer was not on praise for Jesus, not for thanks and glory to God, not for ears to hear, not with an open heart to be in discipleship and not with desire in learning scripture, but to judge with probable racism and opinion as a confused "Old Testament Christian" who did not read Deuteronomy in the Old Testament. My review is, the staff is humble and God-fearing. They seek to know Him like an everlasting hunt as we all should. The congregation are kind stewards and believers, many have come to know Christ and Amen for that! There is an entire kingdom daycare for the children per age group and they are taught, and ministries for teens. Calvary Chapel Newport News is the ideal church and business model rooted and covered with the blood of Jesus and we should have many more locations per state as I now live in Michigan and wish that church was here! I am proud to have started my walk CORRECTLY as a member here and I continue to watch Live online. Pastor Tony Clark and his amazing wife Jenise are anointed and chosen and have pure hearts compelled to serve God's people from the start of their living room to almost 5 services every Sunday, but God is good and made a way, growing his fishbowl to 4 services or a bigger building as righteously deserved in 30 years service. We pay for good food at restaurants, and similarly we tithed for good service!! Do not be deceived and please trust that CCNN will be your home, your family, and will be a place you can draw closer to God more than any other church in Virginia. They really do Reach In, Reach Up, Reach Around, and Reach Out. I won't be quiet, My God is alive in this church, so defend I must Sincerely, Taryn Bruce

Before walking in the doors, you're greeted by people who seem to actually want to know you. Everyone is so friendly and engaging. The service is around an hour and a half, but that is the because the worship is a bit long. Although worship is long, it feels short because the Spirit really flows. I, personally, wish it were longer. The sermon is biblically based. The pastor is nice and his preaching style is engaging. There are young people, old people l, and many different races.As far and the building, it is modern, but with homages to chapels. It is clean, and the bathrooms are also clean and can accommodate the amount of people the church attracts. After much thought, I couldn't think of anything bad to say about the church. If you are looking for a church, check them out. I felt the Spirit when I walked in.

From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt nothing but love, support, and a true sense of community. This is a place free of judgment and overflowing with grace. As a mom of two young toddlers, finding a church where my children feel welcomed and embraced was so important to me. From day one, we were greeted with open arms, and I immediately felt at peace knowing my kids could be themselves without hesitation. The nursery and preschool program are amazing, led by Pastor Dean's wife, Charlene, who works as a reading specialist. I've been blessed to build a personal relationship with Pastor Dean, Charlene, and so many others in this church family. Their kindness and support has been above and beyond to support my family in times of need. My children absolutely love coming to church and always ask "how long until we go to church again" during the week I will forever be grateful for the wisdom, encouragement, and faith I've gained at Velocity through Pastor Dean's leadership. If you're looking for a church that feels like home, where you'll be truly seen, supported, and inspired in your walk with Christ, I cannot recommend Velocity enough!

When my car is in the shop…read moreor I need someone to take me back and forth to a medical appointment, I have several people who've volunteered. When somebody gets sick, we have a team that helps with meals. My mom has never attended the church but Pastor Dean visits her in nursing care. I know Moms who have gotten anonymous gifts of diapers. We share our lives together, pray together, study the word together and are authentic with each others. Pastor Dean and Charlene are great and honest about their challenges, struggles and victories. Awesome worship! Awesome preaching!

The non-denominational Williamsburg Community Chapel has been a performing arts venue for at least…read more2 performances of The Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra. A wonderful, wonderful spot. It lacks the traffic congestion one would expect in larger markets. Easy parking, brightly lit at night, very clean restrooms. I hope to attend more performances there in the future.

My family and I enjoyed ourselves every time. We have since joined and continue to love the atmosphere and the relationships we've developed. The pastor and first lady are humble leaders.
