Such a well organized and stocked store! They have two sections, one with clothes and another with books and home goods. I wish I needed some books because they were plenty stocked and had one of the best inventories I've ever seen in a thrift store. I didn't find anything in either part, as some others have said, prices were a bit inflated but nothing unreasonable. There's a garden center or something of the like next door and when we were walking in it smelled like manner so that threw off my vibe completely. read more

I really enjoy coming to this thrift store! It's very well-organized, which makes hunting for items so much easier. Like any good thrift store, it can get a little dusty at times, but overall it's pretty clean and well-kept. The prices are very fair, and the employees are always friendly and welcoming. Purchased a couch "set"... paid for it, went to pick it up... they brought out the couch...waited for the chair, to find out it was at an additional cost... It is a good place to find what you need from clothes, sporting goods, small appliances, hardware to home decor and furniture. Prices are about the same as Goodwill or Value Village. But if you're in a bind and need something ie. snowboarding equipment. It's a good place to check out. read more

What a great gem of thrift store! They have a wide variety of items ranging from books, household items, office supplies, furniture, sporting goods, jewelry, toys, assorted trinkets and many more! If you enjoy spending time treasure hunting in thrift stores, this place will be up your alley! I found items priced at 50 cents to $1! It was exciting to see such low prices! Christmas ornaments, figurines and other random items were around this low price point. This store is neatly organized into specific sections. On the second floor, they sell clothes for men, women and children. There's a wide selection of items ranging from vintage to more current labels. I saw some clothing items in the $15-30 range. I found that many of the clothes were in good to excellent (brand new with tags) condition. I saw a TNA jacket worth about $250 priced for $30. I saw a Wilfred dress originally worth about $165, priced around $10. If you aren't familiar with the brands, you might find the prices a bit expensive. But if you do know the original prices of these items, you might be able to appreciate some significant bargains here! There is also a separate sporting goods section located upstairs in the furniture area. Here they have skates, golf clubs, snowboards, skis and more. In the main floor (underneath the sporting goods)near the furniture, they even had a very large number of crutches next to a shelf full of rollerblades! It was so random and kind of funny to see these two items placed next to each other. It was the largest number of crutches I've ever seen outside a hospital! In my opinion, this is a very well rounded thrift store. It's unique because it's not part of a big box chain store. If you enjoy thrifting and are in the Canmore area, come check this place out! To say that we went here three times in 8 days is embarrassing, but it's true. The first time we were looking for a mug and we found it and we found was a great place, packed with good quality stuff and really fair prices! The next time we went for a bandana and since it was clothing we discovered they have a "next door" shop just for clothes. It, too, was amazing (and I got a pair of almost brand new Keen hiking shoes for really cheap) and the people working were just so sweet! The last time we dropped by for the heck of it (so my hubby could look for shoes) and I could browse next door and got a really cool book on Trees in Canada for our next visit to Canmore. You can be sure we'll be back to the thrift store as well! read more

Fair pricing, large store. I am a thrift store junkie and love to find one when we travel because you see different things in them that are "local" to that area. We are from Florida and Canmore area is very not our neighborhood. Our cousin got a very nice hiking jacket and I saw quite a few things that I would of bought had I not needed to fly home. They have very nice porcelain tea cup sets from England that I would of loved to snap up but to hard to travel with. Clean store, well organized. read more

On a weekend break to Canmore, we stopped in to Crossway Thrift and we were delighted by the quality of items, the organized atmosphere, the great variety and excellent pricing. The staff were pleasant and the whole experience was just excellent. Found some real gems and spent about an hour just enjoying the experience. I give the Thrift store 5 stares for many reason's, the only frustrating issue is pick up, I called for my mom to pick up a very nice couch in Banff last week Tuesday, I was told that they might be able to pick up the next day, someone will call to confirm.......no call, my mom stayed home all day, nothing, she waited again the week after, my brother called to confirm and was told someone will call back to confirm........ nothing again, we called again and were now told that they cant pick up for another 2 weeks now , since next Wednesday is now fully booked, I love the store, but I really dislike how my mom was let down. She needs that couch gone and now it is a loss for the store. read more

Everytime I am in Canmore sippin' on teas at Communitea, or coming home from an earlier morning hike, I head over to Victory Thrift. I love exploring the main level of this little gem. Everytime I come in, I always bring homea bunch of preciouses I do not actually need. Last time, it was a french onion soup bowl with owlies on it, some frames for needlepoint projects, the most MAJESTIC englarged, mounted, elk photo that you ever did see, a set of nesting dolls, and some tins for tea. So many little treasures are to be found at Victory, if only one takes the time to seek them out. There is also stuff like furniture, electronics, old hockey helmets, etc. Also, there is a prettttty decent book selection for a thrift store. I always loathe the selections at the thrift stores here in Calgary. Upstairs, there is clothing. I have this The Victory Foundation who run this shop seem to be a pretty active little non profit, with programs such as Operation Jacket Frost and a Back to School Program. Read up on it. I am going to give Victory Thrift five stars for its awesomeness, but hope that none of you go and hoard any of the majestic elk photos and owl things because I want them all. read more

By far my favourite store in the whole Bow Valley. They have the best of everything! Best low price, clothing, arts and crafts, dishes (tons of dishes), sports, hardware, lighting, furniture of all kinds, the list really goes on forever. You might think "Oh I'll just quickly pop by the thrift to..." just stop there. You're going to be there until closing, don't lie to yourself. It's not just shopping, it's an outing.
