As well as doing a great array of craft beer this place is also a sort of restaurant that seems to do a lot of fish. The decor inside was like it was designed a bit like the inside of a ship which probably explains the fish connection. When we walked in the smell of Fish and chips was great (in my non allergic opinion) it it was though, bloody strong. Anyways we were just there for the craft beer and we were not disappointed. There was loads of Taps (10 plus) and load of bottles to. We had some great beers including an amazingly named "winter in Bangalore" IPA. The array of beers was top notch, the price as per the norm in Oslo was bonkers, but in general we had a great afternoon. The barmaid even let me charge my phone behind the bar, sadly though she would not change the awful music which loses it the 1 star. On on craft beer hunt? Check this place out. The cafe sets up a stage but the singers often move about among the crowd singing, giving an immersive effect. The best part is that it is free!! When we entered the Whisky Bar I figured it was a local bar with your standard 12 year scotch and bourbons. But when I we pulled up to the bar I was in wonder. Almost all the shelves, to the ceiling were full of some of the finest whiskeys. There was scotches that I rarely see, and some Irish whiskeys I had been hoping to try. I started by asking for a rare scotch, from the Ben Nevis distillery. Yep they had it, including a single barrel batch 2nd option from there. I was surprised. And immediately ordered one, neat.
