Lloyd and Rowe Solicitors is a pretty understated, large shop fronted firm of solicitors on the…read moreCity Road. They don't give much away in terms of advertising what they do, there's not a single sign in sight, and they are woefully badly represented on the internet as well. I recently tried to help a friend find a personal injury specialist as he had a nasty accident when cycling back from work. He has very little recollection of the accident, but several witnesses have stated that owing to heavy traffic he was forced to cycle over a deep pothole that flung him headfirst off his bike. His facial and dental injuries are substantial, and his loss of earnings alone amount to a significant sum. He has been really poorly as a consequence, and is facing huge bills to correct the damage sustained. He is not litigious in nature, and is resistant to the idea of making a claim. I am just one of his many friends who have looked into the idea of a personal injury claim, as he was unwilling, and too unwell to consider doing this himself. Lloyd and Rowe Solicitors was one of the firms that I tried to look into on his behalf, but I soon dispensed with the idea of recommending them, when all of my research could come up with was a criminal prosecution brought against one of the partners. Mr Lloyd of Lloyd and Rowe Solicitors apparently had a low impact accident on the M4 when driving at two and a half times over the legal alcohol limit. He was accordingly banned from driving for 18 months. Hardly the best commendation for his firm!

The case was a very specialist case. As an advocate to this vulnerable woman she is now liberated from the clutches of her heritage. Thank you Llloyd and Rowe solicitors. I would highly recommend them. I would agree with Rachel regarding the shop front and the information available on the internet and perhaps from the reviews the firm will take some action and turn around their negative image.

I look forward to the conclusion of my matter and never having to deal with New Law again.

Probably the biggest mistake of my life Early on in the claims process their servers went down, zero communication, zero support, couldn't speak to a human, they deleted a post on LinkedIn after I commented asking for an update and others followed. After months of radio silence they reached out to me with my medical documents which they asked me to validate & return. I did so the same day and waited another 6 weeks without any acknowledgement they'd received the forms back. I called and spoke with (apparently I'm not allowed to use names), she told me she was going to check the box where everyone's letters get thrown into apparently. She found them and confirmed on e-mail. I replied asking how long it would have taken them to get to it if I hadn't e-mailed and have been completely ignored ever since. When you've dealt with the stress of a car accident which wasn't your fault, the last thing you need is the people who are meant to be helping you make the situation worse If you can give yourself on gift today, don't use New Law.
