Came here for Fayetteville State University's Class of 2026 commencement. The ceremony itself was great, and just to clarify this review is for the venue, not the school or the graduation. Overall the venue was nice and seemed well maintained. Bathrooms were actually pretty clean throughout the event, so no complaints there. My biggest issue was the flow of people. The outside signage could've been a lot better because it wasn't always clear which entrance you were supposed to use. Inside, the concession area felt overcrowded and poorly laid out. You had the entrances, bathrooms, and like four different vendors all in the same area with long lines everywhere. It created a bottleneck and made it harder to move around than it needed to be. Not a bad venue overall, but they could definitely improve the layout and signage for larger events. read more

Been to many events at the crown and I can honestly say that it's been better!! The food and the ambiance has changed this season and I can't say for the better, the concession stands aren't convenient, you have to stand in multiple lines to get just about everything, so by the time you get something for the whole family most of the food is cold. The prices have gone up and the quality has dropped way down which is crazy. They have closed blueline which only left one bar on the concourse, with only one bartender which makes for a long wait. The bar upstairs is inconvenient and it takes the gentleman working in it and long time to make a simple drink, The last hockey game i attended was sellout night and it was like a mad house, the bar was ridiculous, i guess i can only be hopeful that they will get the other bar back open soon and that the service gets better. read more

Our 1st game of 2025 was fun. Do not like that concessions are spread over many areas now. Used to get pizza, hot dogs, pretzel and drinks with one swipe of the card. Now, its all spread out and you get one item and a drink at each area, so card is swiped many times. Because of the changes, more peiple were hired and of course the high prices went even higher. To make it worse, the lines took longer than before. Guess we will m watch the games and leave the expensive snacks to everyone. One star is too many! Terrible experience due to the security rules at the entrance. Bags have to be smaller than a wallet unless you have a diaper in it then it can be as big as you want. They made a grandma who bought Disney On Ice tickets for her grandchildren's Christmas present walk back to her vehicle and put her purse up after they checked it and waved her money bag up in the air. If the safety of the people was the priority then they wouldn't have made a grandma go put her purse in a vehicle and risk getting hit in the head or her vehicle broke into. This also, caused us to miss the first 20 minutes of the show and have upset kids! What was supposed to be a fun outing for Christmas instead of toys turned out to be a miserable time! Many people were mad because they had to walk so far back to the vehicle. Not to mention the security was rude. I would rather go through TSA at the airport every day than go back there. It's much easier! At minimum put signs up in the parking lot stating purse size requirements or have people in the parking lot showing the measurements. I do feel bad for the staff because they have to enforce these dumb rules, but some are very biased. Search all of the bags no matter the size and don't have people lock their valuables up in their vehicle. I will never spend another dime at this facility. If you don't get your act together vendors and shows will find other venues because people will quit spending money to go there if they know they risk getting their vehicles broke into or having to walk back to their vehicle and miss half of the show they went too! read more

Great arena! I was here for a private event, so I can't say how a full show would be in here, but I like the building, even though it's a bit dated. It's one of those arenas where the view is good from every seat. Again, I didn't get to try any of the concessions as they were closed but walking around the empty building, it looks like it would be a great place to see a concert or a sporting event. read more

Attending yet another Fayetteville Marksmen hockey game today and had a wonderful time! The facility is top notch, clean and well secured. No problem with vendors, food quality or otherwise! Parking is close by and attendants everywhere. Very nice experience. And the Marksmen games are a fans delight!! Great hockey, great audio and overall fan experience. read more

Came here for smackdown live (wwe). The facilities are very dated including the bathrooms not even having mirrors which was a little weird. Also they have no Concession stands in the floor level besides cold popcorn and soda out of a bottle. They do not offer lids to there cups and no straws. It was a very packed crowd and it people were spilling sodas/beer and popcorn where you walk in and they just left it there throughout the show. read more

Did the Color Run here over the weekend. Packet pick-up was easy (though signage was slightly confusing at first), everyone was very friendly, the race was easy and well-run and laid out and everyone seemed to be in great spirits and having a good time. The volunteers must have been kinder than those in the past because all my friends who have done previous runs were telling me about how I was going to get sprayed in the face but that didn't happen - I suspect you kind'a have to seek that out - but maybe I'm wrong and some of the volunteers are nasty... either way - no one did that to me. Parking was easy and there was plenty (I was worried about that) and I have no complaints. That being said - I only did the run first thing in the morning and have never attended a concert or sporting event here so can't comment on that at this time. read more

Pretty Building - Horrible Service We had a wedding planned there this year and the nickel and dimming for everything was annoying but bearable. What was not bearable was booking a concert the day of the wedding. Whoever is in charge knew that there was a wedding on this day but also knew they could make more money on a concert not caring about the most important day in a person's life. read more

Second time visiting this arena and it's very dated. I didn't visit concessions but the parking situation and traffic control getting to the arena was horrible. Literally 5 minutes away and sat in traffic for 45 mins. Got into the parking lot and sat there for another 30 min. Missed part of the show. They need more lot attendants controlling how people park. I gave it a 2 because the staff within the coliseum were very helpful. read more

I had high hopes for this venue. It seemed like they had everything together... nope! Never been here but have been to enough shows to know if I want to be where I want to be in the pit I need to get there early. So after a lot of consideration I purchased the fast pass tickets for the show 11/23 because the venue is large and I did not want to wait in a long line or have to worry about finding a parking space after driving 4 1/2 hours just to get there. $25 each a person ($50 total) to have "VIP PARKING, and a fast pass entry. We get there around 4:30 there's already a line and the designated area for VIP parking was already halfway filled up by people who did not purchase your fast pass tickets. Luckily there were a few spots left. There was a designated door for fast pass and 4 other lines for entry. There was maybe 30-35 total people in line with fast pass up until 5:30 and the regular lines wrapped around the parking lot. We were told that the artists were running behind but they were acting like they were going to let everyone in normally. So they let the fast pass line in and then had us stop again 1/4 of the way down the hallway. Only to make another line inside to get everyone out of the cold. Then a man tells us all to move forward to try to get as many people in as possible. We stood there between 15-25 min. Everyone bunched together like sardines. There was no fast pass line anymore. Then randomly the security says everyone can go and just lets everyone in at the same time. WHAT WAS THE POINT OF US BUYING THE FAST PASS? The website says no refunds but you blatantly disregarded both "pros" of buying a fast pass and people spending the money for it. I would like a refund. I know the beginning was not the security employees fault at all. That was higher up. The security was awesome, every single one was polite, smiling, enjoying their job and helpful. With that I'm thinking the situation could have been avoided. It was one of the most unorganized experiences I've ever had. Unrelated to the venue-show was amazing. read more

The Crown Theater is the worst. Save your money!!! It truly out dated. I went to see Momma's Boy Play, the show was great the theater was awful!!!. They had my son seat in a folded metal chair. I sent them this message: I want to discuss the seating arrangements during the Momma's Boy Play. REALLY A FOLDING CHAIR!!!!! :-( FOR $60. My son and I spent 10 minutes looking for our seats before I realized that there wasn't one for him. I paid $120 for Orchestra 103 Row T Seats 13 & 14. While seat 13 was there, seat 14 was an empty space. When we questioned the usher about the seats, they brought us a folding chair and I do not think that is appropriate for the amount of money I paid. Due to the show starting, we sat in the seats without arguing but I am contacting you inquiring about a refund. Guess what? To this day, no one has ever reach out to me. Today, I decided to resend the message. I will continue to resend it until someone reaches out to me. read more

Watching Disney on ice... Great presentation. Paid for the vip seating with dinner. DON'T EVER MAKE THAT MISTAKE!!!! Options were hot dog or chicken fingers with fries and a drink. What we got were cold chicken fingers, cold soggy fries... thankfully their were barely 10 of those, and we got flat soda. No refills. I'd a rather just bought food from one of the vendor stations and enjoyed the seating with warm food. Needless to say, when the show is over we will be hunting down our second attempt at dinner. At Holly Day Fair. It is jam packed with cool stuff!!!! Lots of neat Christmas presents, venors both lical and afar and plenty of food.

At the gun show seeing some great weapons and not so nice. Overall it was an informative walk around to get out the house.

Went to the Disney On Ice show on Friday evening and purchased VIP seating as a surprise to my daughter. View was supposed to be unobstructed but it wasn't. There was a row in front of us and there were times you couldn't see the entire show. And the food was absolutely DISGUSTING! Choices were Chicken fingers, Hot Dog or Pizza. It also came with "House Fries", cookie, popcorn and a soda. Well, the chicken fingers were mush and gross. The house fries were hard as hockey pucks and CAKED with seasoned salt. Absolutely putrid! The cookie was the only thing Ok. The popcorn seemed like leftover popcorn and was junk. If you go to this show in the future at the Crown Complex DO NOT get VIP seating! Not worth it when you do not get an unobstructed view and the food tastes bland, is cold and absolutely disgusting. read more

This has been the worst experience I have ever had at an event. We came from out of town to see a show and at intermission we needed to check on our dog, we were informed that after admission if you left there was no re-entry. A lady next to us needed to get her phone from her car to contact her child, this was also not allowed. When asked why, I was returned with a "that's the policy" with no explanation. After asking for the reason I was returned with very rude replies of "that is just the policy" and "it is written on the window" and being informed if I stepped out to read the sign that I would also not be anllowed back in, and that I "can read it backwards through the window" They finally got a manager for me to speak with and his reasoning was "if you go to your car you could drink alcohol or something" I asked if I could be escorted to my car just to check on my dog and if the lady next to me could be escorted to get her phone and they said they would not accommodate this. In the end we had to leave with only seeing half our show even though we paid for the full show. I will never return and highly recommend others find other conference locations. read more

Why didn't I read my own review and not go back? I decided to give them another chance on Star Trek Ultimate Voyage because, surely, there wouldn't be as many people as Elton John so we wouldn't have to get there three hours early. And I was right. The tour company canceled the night before and the venue sent out one email from a different address than we got our tickets from. So guess where that email ended up? In a spam folder. We drove two hours, again, spent the whole day in Fayetteville, and then arrived an hour early to find out that the show was canceled. I realize that it wasn't the venue that canceled the concert but you should have sent something from the same place that you emailed the tickets from to be sure that we would get it. Or you have our phone numbers on file. Maybe a phone call? It's so sad that this place is run so poorly. read more

Consession stand was great no wait. My nephews and niece had a blast at the game so that was all I needed for a 4 star review.

Attended my son's high school graduation on the 29th of May. We made lei's for our graduate to give soon after the ceremony was complete. We were turned away by staff security because the lei's were not allowed to come into the venue. When I asked how the lei was a threat to anyone in the venue we were told it was just their policy. We also had even staff member sitting at the bottom of the steps in each section watching the crowd as if a fight could possibly break out. This is a high school graduation where we celebrate the success of our graduates and bid them good luck in their future endeavors, not a hokey match where there is a possibility of rival fans getting into a fight. Moreover, we are not allowed to cheer for our graduate at anytime during the ceremony because we may be asked to leave the event. This is utter bullshit and the Cumberland county school district needs to relook their policy on graduation events. read more
