I came in with a very large group of people and the bartenders mode instantly went south, because of the upcoming packers game and how invested she was into the game. She didn't want to take our orders and when she did she was very reluctant to do so. I ordered one drink and when I closed my tab i made the mistake of giving her my card before seeing what i was going to be charged for. I ended up being charged $17 for my one beer and when i brought it to her attention she was cursing me out and telling how much all she wanted to do was watch the game. I kept my cool and tried my best to de escalate i even offered to just sign the receipt just to be over it and she ended up crumpling the receipt up. Im not sure why but im pretty sure she is a tweaker. After this episode she literally told me to watch the bar while she went to the bathroom and im not even kidding she was gone for 10-15 minutes. I really do not recommend this place unless you plan to be verbally assaulted. Or just want an interesting story to tell people about.

Anyways, Thirsty Thursday rolls around, and lo and behold, we pile in en masse nearly doubling the patronage, but no loss in quality of service, even when the regulars flooded in later in the night. Great vibe, pool tables, skeeball, touchtunes jukebox, great drink specials, nice people (both patrons and the bartenders). Fun, dive bar type atmosphere but clean and respectable. We will be returning, often. We might have found our new favorite dive on this side of town.

THEN Brooklyn came over and said that although her section was on the other side of the restaurant, she was happy to help, and to not hesitate to get her attention if we needed anything, or any refills. However, we never had to because she was on it!!! She has such a great personality, and works efficiently, yet without ever feeling rushed. She also gives her honest opinion about menu items, without ever criticizing anything in particular, but definitely won't steer you wrong or sound fake about it. She was able to take what had started out as a bad experience and turn the situation around. We had an absolute blast and the food was delicious. While I dinged the overall review, Brooklyn is awesome and she gets a full 5 stars!

There was a large selection of draft beer. I had the brisket basket with a sweet tea, caesar salad and mac&cheese as my sides. Most of the waitresses had nose rings or colored hair, which really isn't my thing but good on them. My waitress was very nice, but forgot I was there while taking to friends at the bar. Also their wifi went down while I was there so I had to pay cash. Again, this is exactly what I expected and I might return for the Monday night football game!
