Inside the decor is really cute, but I got instantly nervous when I saw the stylists. Their hair was badly dyed and not cut in an attractive manor. Thinking that maybe they were eclectic I decided to stay and ask for a simple trim, just to try it out. Well I had my hair up in a bun all day and parted drastically to the side. The lady didn't unpart my hair, and when she started cutting, she didn't even spray it with water, so she cut around the kinks leaving it cut unevenly. when I pointed this out I got shrugged off. It was a very hurried cut, and as I was walking out I realized why. Her coworkers were sitting at the front desk, SMOKING cigarettes and watching hulu. She quickly joined them as soon as my 5 minute, extremely shabby cut was over. This place is extremely unprofessional. Is it even legal to smoke indoors at a public facility like that? Anyways, I'm off to find a new place tomorrow, and end up with shorter hair than I originally wanted. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Alecia was out of town so another worker did my hair. Here's everything that went wrong: 1) she refused to do a twist start on my hair, which I wanted for a natural look. 2) she gave me attitude when I asked her to make my twist smaller 3) she was eating food while doing my hair, and to top it off 4) she used the restroom and did NOT was her hands before continuing on my hair. (Anything is better than me doing my hair) Iris contacted me before I arrived via text (my favorite way to get a message) and went over what I wanted and provided suggestions on the type of hair to purchase. When I arrived I was greeted and my temperature was taken. The shop is small and has a store front as soon as you walk in which carries several hair care products and hair. Which if you think about it is genius!!! Iris was finishing up a client and told me she would be with me in a moment, I sat down and read. It only took about 10 minutes or so and I was in the chair. Iris and I reviewed what we wanted to do. She was cheerful, easy going and asked questions regarding my goals and event. We settled on a style and she got to work.
