It is full of collectibles, well organized throughout the store, encouraging you to take your time to browse. There were a couple of things that caught my eye while waiting for a nearby restaurant to open. Did end up going back to buy an unopened model of the underwater Lotus Espirit from the James Bond film, 'The Spy Who Loved Me', with price not being overly over how you could get it on-line. Will decide later if I want to open it or not. Like most places on the island, there is a small surcharge for using a credit card, so ended up using cash...which was probably a mistake since I didn't get a receipt. Tried to make a little conversation but the proprietor wasn't really interested today.

The store is a godsend for Kauai, where we have just one bookstore on the far west of Kauai. This new shop also specializes in featuring Native Hawaiian and Pasifika works, with occasional art classes. The selection is impressive for a small store and prices are comparable to e-tailers. Books range from children's, to reference, to fiction and nonfiction. Hopefully the community comes to support this store!
