First off, the woman running the shop is SO NICE. Such a sweet person who is always happy to help you find anything you're looking for. There is a very good selection of items while the main article is clothing, so any souvenirs could be found here. I've visited two other gift shops in Kauai so far, this shop has items priced at or below other stores, so there's no need to compare prices. I hope this place lasts for a long time because this is THE #1 gift shop in the south/east part of the island. read more

Love, love, love this little locally owned shop. The owner, Carmen, is just as sweet as can be. I came to her shop 12 years ago and bought a batik dress that was my favorite dress for many years. I wore it till the fabric was thread bare! I was thrilled when we came back to Kauai this year and found she still had these wonderful dresses! Pretty good pop off and the service is indeed super friendly. I think if you're looking for clothing and dresses this is the place, but if you're just after generic keychains, magnets, and other tourist trash they don't have a better selection than anywhere else and prices aren't any less. I'd say definitely worth a stop if you're in the area but no need to make a special trip unless you're looking for something more fringe and you'll want to call ahead. read more

Ok, so you may be able to get some of the stuff at this store at Walmart or an ABC Store. But the owner and her family make this place special. When we were there, picking out dresses, t-shirts and other stuff, the owner's toddler grandson kept helping us out by holding out items he thought he'd like. That was cute, but when we left, he came running in from the back with my wife's sunglasses that she'd misplaced, so he was super helpful. My son loved a bracelet, but couldn't find one that fit him correctly. The owner noticed he was having trouble and so she added beads to the bracelet for him so it was the perfect size. In the end we got a lot of shopping done, but more importantly, we got some great customer service and great Kauai memories. read more

They have some gorgeous dresses but be forewarned that the sizing is a bit strange (in other words, if you find a dress you like but see your size label, try on multiple sizes anyway. Best friend is a size 4 and bought an XL dress. I typically wear a L or XL and bought a dress in a 2X.) read more
