She and I emailed back and forth often since I live in Hot Springs and she is in Jonesboro. As you can imagine, with eleven people we had many details and accommodations to work out. Lisa was great and answered all of my questions. She arranged all of our tours and knew things I wouldn't have known had I planned it myself (like you should get reserved seating at the luau). Our family had a wonderful time. We took four teenagers with us so I wanted everything to be fun and memorable for them especially. We snorkeled, went deep sea fishing, swam with sea turtles, went high diving (not me, I watched), visited the Polynesian Cultural City and enjoyed their show and luau, and toured the city of Honolulu to see all of the famous sights. It was a wonderful vacation. I will definitely use them again.

My boyfriend's mom very kindly got us a $1,000 gift certificate for the holidays to go on a trip to…read morewherever we wanted! Very exciting. The travel agent's service, however, was not that exciting. You are required to use the gift certificate for a "package" -- airfare and hotel -- so even though I was using it to travel back home we had to use part of the funds for a hotel, and ended up paying $450 extra that wouldn't have been necessary if I just stayed at my parents' house. She said she couldn't even pick our seats, so we had to get them assigned together at the airport or at the gate! Overall, the woman is perfectly nice, but also totally unwilling to accommodate any additional requests for your trip or use any type of creativity in planning. Can I use the gift certificate for flights only? Can we use it towards reservations at a winery? Can we skip the hotel and use it to do something else fun? Nope, nope and NOPE! Given the number of emails and phone calls exchanged, and paying extra for not exactly the trip I wanted -- you're honestly better off just doing it yourself online. I know I will in the future!

Working with Carmen was far more stressful than I expected. Instead of feeling confident that…read moreeverything was being taken care of, I constantly felt like I had to follow up and verify that things were being handled correctly. I understand that mistakes can happen, but when someone is representing themselves as a travel professional, you expect reliability, communication, and attention to detail. To be fair, Carmen does respond to questions and concerns. However, don't expect a quick response. Many of my concerns took longer than I felt they should have, which only added to the stress of planning the trip. One of my biggest frustrations was the payment process. I repeatedly had to question why payments were being processed on different dates than expected, which created unnecessary confusion and made it difficult to feel confident that everything was on track. What was even more disappointing than the issues themselves was how they were handled afterward. Every concern seemed to come with an explanation or excuse instead of simply taking responsibility and focusing on the customer experience. Then, after we shared our honest opinions, private messages were sent accusing my family of lying and saying we were trying to hurt your business. Responding to criticism by attacking your customers only reinforces why we felt compelled to leave these reviews. This review isn't meant to damage anyone's reputation. It's simply an honest reflection of my experience. Everyone is free to decide who they trust with their vacation, but based on my experience, I wouldn't use Rosario Travel again.

We checked out the welcome center first, which had animals such as turtles, snakes, fish and an owl out back! They also had a wide variety of taxidermy animals like deer and fox and bears! Oh My! Directly outside the visitors center is a shaded boardwalk through the woods, over looking a pond. We walked this for a little bit. The trail is clearly very well maintained and cleaned. The inside of the nature center was a little dated, but was very hands on and great for kids. It was a good way for us to kill time and get outdoors!
