At one point I questioned why they reported they sprayed a solution on my walls when they didn't (it gets billed) and Julian's reply was "maybe the technician was thinking about doing it" he expressed that he was very busy, almost to say as if I'm not. He will answer no questions with certainty and sigh like you're bothering him by calling. Alvin will blatantly just not call you back. He will say he's going to email things to be transparent and correct mistakes they have made in the past but then never follow through. At one point that had 3 dehumidifiers in my house but only 2 were running (but they'll bill for 3). They had the technician show up at any time he wanted even though we had specific scheduled times. This company is a scam and unreliable. I would never recommend someone to trust them to do the right thing when it comes to their home. The days we spent going back and forth with them and trying to get calls back, could have potentially caused our house to have further damage. I can only imagine the insurance fraud they have going on here.

My parents are dealing with a gate that won't close after 10 years which was caused by poor foundation issues, exacerbated by time. Everything is so solid. I interviewed 3 companies. Two of those showed up late, provided quotes either late or not at all, and one of those didn't quote what we discussed. Haley Bros showed up on time, listened, quoted what was discussed (which was special order) and turned around a quote quickly. I was very pleased and would recommend to anybody.

The areas which were repointed with new mortar blend nicely with the original giving the appearance that no repair work was ever done there. The quality of their work is professional and meticulous, and the price was reasonable for the amount of work completed. About a month later, he told me he couldn't cut a hole for a deadbolt, because the wooden door was "too old". I easily showed Teddy how to do so, on the very same door, which was actually relatively new. As my tenant, he quickly became a nuisance, texting at all hours. I couldn't meet his expectations. Ultimately, I decided not to renew his lease, because he kept pressing for permission to make unnecessary repairs, thereby reducing rental payments owed. For example, he complained about a supply line leak above the shower within the first week. He said he replaced "all the plumbing" at a gym in Cahoes. I declined his offer to remedy the issue; the drips of water were produced by condensation, not a leak. He said he handled housekeeping for various Airbnb units throughout upstate NY. As I'm an experienced Airbnb host of 7 units, this falsehood became abundantly clear. My experiences with Ted Biddle would be laughable, if not for fear of sinister intent. I'm worried for the safety of my 80 year old stepmother, who owns and resides in the property where Teddy is holding over in my 3rd floor apartment, with all of my furnishings, which I regrettably subleased to him. The weather was rainy and he was very careful to ensure that stain wasn't applied while the house was still damp. There were no drips anywhere. The stain was applied evenly and thoroughly. I was MORE than patient with him. He finally came to my house to do the job, after numerous no shows that past week and a half. When he arrived he asked to come out to review what we wanted to do, and it was filled with bait and switches. He was impatient, rude and off putting immediately if I tried asking any questions, and threatened to leave. He refused to do the work we originally agreed on which was the areas of the front of the house visible from the street or even have a conversation/work with me on what I wanted. I kindly reminded him we can calmly talk things through to get on the same page, and work things out, after all, it had been over a YEAR since I was quoted. I reminded him that the thinking was that if we were renting a lift, that we would do all the areas that would require it, so that we didn't have to rent it again... Logical, right? I even broke down and offered to pay more to have the section I wanted to be painted... This was when he admitted he didn't rent the lift like he was supposed to. At that point, I ended up going along with what he said he would do because I had waited so long and needed it done. Then, he told me that the paint was not included and I needed to pay for it separately, which was not notated anywhere in the quote that it was the clients responsibility. The quote gave the totals in the column, and gave the grand total at the bottom of the amount we agreed to including the paint, and then I realized the total at the bottom didn't even add up to any of the amounts given, it was very obscure, and disorganized leaving me, the client, feeling like he was trying to take advantage of me. Any attempt to discuss with him to review the quotes, problem solve, see if there was misunderstandings lead to hyper defensiveness, rude behavior, and again threaten to leave. After numerous times to sooth him I just let him go. He even got mad at me for even asking if I could pick the color of white for my own house, and threatened to leave over that! Not multiple colors, one color. If he had made a mistake and admitted it, and we could have talked it out and fixed it, and came to resolution. The whole experience was terrible, and completely unprofessional. We had agreed to do a portion of the house this year, and the other portion in the next year or two, and then at the end he admitted he didn't want to do the job because he didn't want to only do half. I told him I wish he had told be before and I would have changed plans, and not waited a year longer than we originally talked about. I do not appreciate dishonesty, and being dragged along just to be treated rudely to get out of a job. Simply communicate well. I would definitely not recommend him. After a year of waiting to have my house painted, I will probably have to wait till next year to get someone that available. To say the least, I'm livid.
