Krista was there to educate the attendees on creating an effective Individual Educational Plan (IEP) and 504 Plan. Her knowledge of IDEA law, IEP's, and the school system is impressive. We left that meeting with a lot of information but it was obvious to us we lacked the amount and years of experience Krista obviously has. We contact My Educational Solutions to ensure the best possible IEP. Best decision ever! So far Krista's support has made a huge difference. She's a force to be reckoned with when in advocacy mode. During our meeting she was focused, attentive, proactive, catching possible misrepresentations, and pointing out legal rights under IDEA law. Had she not been in attendance one IEP would have had an unmeasurable goal, with no way to track progress. I would have never thought to question that. Krista had the entire IEP team brain storming what system and material they were going to use to implement that goal and measure progress. I especially like that Mrs. Barth doesn't rush to finalize the IEP, she wants it done right, quality not quantity. I will most definitely continue acquiring these services as my children grow and their needs change. I highly recommend My Educational Solutions for anyone in search of advocacy services and wants it done right. My only regret is that I hadn't met her sooner. Communication was inconsistent--appointments were missed or late--and there was no follow-up. I only learned two weeks after the PPT that I had run out of time for one. Her tone in the meeting was not collaborative, which she indicated was her approach. I wouldn't recommend if you are out of state.

My sister & I took private Spanish lessons with Maria for 5 weeks twice a week and it seems like we…read morebarely just scratched the surface of this language. The time flew by so fast and in such a short time I know that I definitely learned much more than I ever did before. I took a basic Spanish class a while back in HS but only learned how to say a few words. These private lessons are offered out of Maria's home office and truly afforded me the personal attention I needed to learn much more than I ever have previously. Nonetheless, we still have so much more to learn and a long road ahead of us to become fully fluent. Maria is a very encouraging, smart, kind and patient teacher. She helped us with our pronunciation and introduced us to conjugating several verbs and taught us many new nouns and adjectives. At the end of five weeks we were able to structure a few basic sentences. All-in-all, I was very pleased with the private lessons and wish I could afford to keep going until I become an expert. If you are able to take private lessons with Maria, you will indeed learn a lot. She is a terrific teacher and I would recommend her.

Her classes are so much better than a traditional class like all other language classes. Great teacher, great environment, and if you are serious at learning spanish, Maria is the way to go.

Brianna Sutton was a tutor for both my sons. She cancelled #1 appointment 38 mins before it was…read morescheduled. When #2 appointment rolled around she was very rude during their meet and greet hour and kept speaking over my son, not allowing him to speak. I tried a couple of times to tell her what he was saying and she began to silence me by telling me that she can only take answers from the child. To which I advised, I'm only saying exactly what he was trying to tell her. She proceeded to tell me that her volume is all the way up and she hears me clearly, so... It got to the point where my son stop answering her with his words and began using hand signals. During their meet and greet she revealed that she had been a elementary teacher for 8yrs -i cannot understand how. My 9yr old son, who is a people's person with an outdoor personality was very unengaged. She did not capture him in the slightest. She was more interested in using the 45mins they had together to tell him of her trips to Latin America with her family and her love for making music, then to to figure out how to capture my son's attention and keep him engaged. My goodness -I can go on and on about how badly the lesson went. Can you believe this woman began the lesson by yawning and telling my child she was feeling tired from staying up too late the night before RIGHT AFTER my child told her he was feeling EXCITING about starting tutoring. Then she had the audacity to cancel all future appointments with my child at the beginning of their next appointment with NO notice. The experience with this company has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
