I had an outpatient surgery here. Staff was professional and kind. I loved my surgeon and the nursing staff. Everyone made this a relatively easy experience. The recovery part right after the surgery was a little rough, but the nurse stood by my side and helped me through the process. There were only one or two people left there after me and no one rushed me or pushed me, but they did help me feel well enough to get up and go. While I enjoy Crystal Clinic, the only small complaint I have is with their use of a 3rd party to complete medical forms that patients may need for work. That was a bit cumbersome to deal with. Other than that, the care and the facility itself were great. read more

I was scheduled for a deep MRI on Wednesday night at 6:45 PM. The girl behind the desk started asking me questions and I wasn't even in the door. I said something to my husband that I couldn't hear her because we weren't in the building yet and she piped up, because she heard what I said to him and told me that she didn't know which way I was going and she wanted to make sure I was going in the right direction. Definitely had a tone when it was time to be taken back to the MRI department I had a male walk me back there, which was quite a hike. He was way ahead of me and I could barely keep up. He saw that I had a walking issue, but it didn't matter. Gave me my clothes to change into because I had to take everything off. While I was in the dressing room, changing someone knocked on the door. I thought it might be a nurse because I was taking so long. It was a person wanting to dump the waste baskets. While I'm in there half naked. When I got into the MRI room, I was not helped on the table. Nothing friendly about them. Won't ever go back. read more

While I did find the staff kind and helpful, I did not receive post op rehab or care and now 6 months after care, I am in more pain than all before surgery. Was told surgery was not the cause of pain. Since then I have seen multiple doctors at other facilities, chiro, PT, and pain injections but still no relief. Further, I paid my surgery invoice in full and fought with billing for 4 months to get my account to show it was paid even providing endorsed cashed checks. Just recently I was billed for a follow up appointment and the statement showed past due but I had paid it in full, again just like last time. Going through the same process of trying to get my account to show $0 balance. Have proof of payment through the payment portal! Lastly I have been trying to get copies of my xrays and imaging and after 3 months, 4 phone calls, and 2 digital requests, I still don't have my medical chart My new doctor send a request for release of my chart as well and it has gone unanswered. They also said I may be charged for said request. I already paid for the appointment and imaging, I shouldn't be charged to receive a copy of what I own. read more

Would never ever ever recommend this Orthopaedic Center to anybody. I went there at the recommendation of a co worker and totally wasted my time and money. What began nearly a year ago has resulted in absolutely nothing .. zero relief .. but oddly enough a lot of charges for issues I have yet to get resolved. Started with an XRay .. then a CT scan .. then an MRI .. the surgeon I saw for an office visit gave me 5-7 minutes each time I was there for my full co payment and then tells me he is leaving the practice so I got pawned off on another surgeon that made me wait over an hour for my appointment only to tell me that he cannot help me. So now here I am back where I started looking for someone to help me. Beware .. this organization is doctor owned .. they are set up to turn and burn .. only want the simple cases so they can just bill the patient and move on to the next. They are not interested in complex cases but of course do not tell you that until they have your money. read more

I had surgery on my Achilles tendon and heal. First, my surgeon and anesthesiologist, and Surgery was as good as it could have gone! My surgeon was caring and did a very good job! The nurses and anesthesiologist wore all very good too professional and nice! Now the visits to the actual clinic and the billing department is a very different story! I was treated extremely bad by one of the receptionist in the Montrose clinic, but it was corrected by one of the other office, ladies. Still stuck with me though. Because the reason was because I cannot get through to their billing department to get an itemized bill on paper, I have called and left a message at least six times with never a callback. I don't think their billing department even exists at the Crystal Clinic. It's very confusing. I get texts emails and bombarded several times a day.! it's overwhelming! when I asked the receptionist about my bill, she got extremely nasty with me, but obviously I have no one else to refer to if the bill pay Dept does not ever call me back. I think they use something called Zen. Do I also got a hold of and they said they could not send me an itemized bill to refer back to Crystal Clinic so here I am complaining online. read more

I came here for surgery with Dr Manaco. Everyone was so friendly and made sure my mind was at ease and I was comfortable. They made sure all my questions were answered and even answered some I hadn't thought of. Surgery went well and I didn't feel rushed. They gave me a follow up call to make sure I was ok and all questions were answered. I definitely recommend this group of doctors for any orthopedic needs. read more

I have seen two Doctors at Crystal Clinic. Dr. Acus and Dr. Stachowicz. Dr. Acus I was introduced to by my sister-in-law because she worked for him. He did a carpal tunnel surgery on my left hand. A few years later, Dr. Stachowicz did a CMC Arthroplasty on my left hand. Two years after that, Dr. Stachowicz did a CMC Arthroplasty, a carpal tunnel and another something tunnel (nerve) surgery on my right elbow. All at once on my right hand. The carpal tunnel on my right hand has been the most difficult recovery I have had of all these surgeries. I have been more of an issue with them, than they have to me. lol I go with the flow as long as things are getting taken care of. The biggest issue I am having is billing. My second surgery was not coded right, and now Crystal Clinic's billing company is not willing to check their mistakes. I live in Canton, Ohio Their billing IS a hot mess! read more

Because of the very bad experience that I had at this clinic I moved here from Indiana and I really had really high hopes for Crystal clinic because I was told that Crystal clinic was the best but I did not receive the best experience. I feel because of my illness I was discriminated against for no reason. Was told that they could not do surgery on my knee because I had have kidney problems and I may need dialysis down the road so they would not do a knee replacement on me and my kidney doctor said he had never heard of anything like that and my kidney doctor cleared me to have surgery. But was told that if one partner would not do surgery on me none of the other partners would either what a shame so I guess I just have to suffer or just try to find a new surgeon here in Ohio read more

The care I received was good. I had a great doctor. The billing department is incompetent. I made payments for over three years and never received a statement showing my balance, the information wasn't available online. As it turned out, I finally called and spent 40 minutes on the phone to find out that I had overpaid and was owed a refund. They then tell me that it has to be paid in two checks from different accounts. I received the first one within two weeks. This second one takes twenty-one days to process. While talking to the billing department I found that there is no sense of urgency to take care of customer service. They don't care. The supervisor could only recite their ridiculous policy of taking twenty-one days to process. Blah blah blah. I'm still waiting for my money. read more

My recent visit to Crystal Clinic was deeply disappointing. I waited over an hour to see the doctor, and while I know things happen it seems to be an overscheduling problem since the doctor literally spent less than 5 minutes with me. The staff was notably rude, especially the tech that took me back to the room. She was short and abrasive right at the start, even more so when I declined a redundant X-ray since I'd had one less than two weeks ago. It trickled down to the the doctor. He spent only five minutes with me, was dismissive and couldn't care less that I was there. He provided no clear treatment plan beyond a cortisone shot and a six-week follow-up. The rushed care and questionable test recommendations raise concerns about whether decisions are being made for patient benefit or financial gain. Based on this experience of poor service and inadequate medical consultation, I cannot recommend this group. I think that their reputation is well overplayed. I can't wait to get that bill! read more

The Crystal clinic seems like a great place to get your surgeries done and I would have had them do it if it wasn't for the insulting fact that the doctor who was examining me was on her cell phone texting the entire time not really focusing on me as a patient I'd wait two months to see her in for the 15 minutes that she spent with me almost the entire time she was texting and on her cell phone I felt insulted and disrespected and I will not recommend this specific doctor to anybody read more

Ridiculous scheduling people mostly morons that just follow the protocol they don't give info that is helpful like your getting and an MRI you should book your appt now with the Dr now so you don't have to wait three to four more weeks I have bone on bone C1-5 Disc issues. Painfully agonizing. got the PA to ex-ray and confirm that was 4 weeks ago. next is MRI but no PT makes no sense at all. Every Dr is 3-5 weeks out to book. if your in agony good luck go to CC or somewhere else. Pathetic and this is consistent with how they manage their practice. as i been here three times one for knee, one for back one for wrist, over the last three years. Yes i should know better. I will next time. Really disappointing. They may have good Dr's (Ehrler) but their office and scheduling sucks! read more

Their new "urgent care" is nothing but a money pit. My wife went in with a swollen ankle and saw a PA who spent the better part of an hour shrugging his shoulders and saying, "I don't know". He wanted to send her 33 miles north for an MRI. Really? That fancy place couldn't have MRI'd her there? Finally, after 2 hours we realized this was a waste of time, this guy was clueless and now we wait for what will no doubt be a ridiculously overcharged billing. read more

Everyone I have dealt with at CC was good--kind, patient, calm, helpful. First experience was with Dr. Manly when I fractured my arm in 2022. I was pleased with the care I received. Only issue with her was a kind of "why are you here?" attitude when I returned 8 months later due to increasing pain in my arm. Second experience has been great from the beginning. In March of this year I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. After reading reviews, I chose Dr. Stemple to be my doctor, and LOVE him and his staff, especially Julia, his secretary. He takes all the time necessary to explain things, is very patient and kind, and a great surgeon. TKR done in June; great progress made, and I had all the help I needed from his office. What touched me the most was when he came to see me pre-surgery, and before he left he patted my shoulder and said, "I'll take good care of you." He did! The nurses at the clinic were all very nice, and didn't fuss at all when I needed frequent trips to the bathroom post-surgery (they had to help me get up). Wait time for help was usually pretty short. PT before and after surgery was good; I like the therapists I've had, and between my own exercising and their help, I was well-prepared for the surgery, and thus have had an excellent recovery. Both the doctor and PTs have said I am well ahead of where most people are following surgery. I will say, yes, they are expensive, but it was worth it. Also, yes, billing is not the best. For example, they used my co-pay for PT to pay other things. Doing that makes deciphering bills difficult. We called and talked to them and the gal was very nice and explained things, and also reduced our bill by checking on payments already made. The only thing that really bothers me about CC is that THE BATHROOM IN THE PT AREA IS NOT HANDICAP-FRIENDLY!!!! THE TOILET IS LOW AND THERE IS NO SUPPORT, NOTHING TO HANG ONTO, AS THE BAR ON THE WALL IS TOO FAR AWAY FROM THE TOILET (I CAN BARELY REACH IT LET ALONE USE IT FOR SUPPORT), SO i HAVE TO TAKE MY RAISED TOILET SEAT WITH ME EACH TIME IN CASE I NEED TO GO. GRRR!!!! FIX THE BATHROOM, ALREADY!!!! Thankfully, the bathroom in the doctors' office section across the hall IS handicap-friendly. read more

The Crystal Clinic in Montrose has been the BEST in treating me. I have had a couple of surgeries that both went smoothly. I continue to see Dr. Philip Lewandowski and his Physicians Assistant. The check in process is easy and I have never had to wait long to see my Doctor. The Crystal Clinic is the BEST. Can't say enough about how good they are! read more

I would not recommend this place, if you need immediate care, first time you go in, they take x-rays. Give you your results, send you home with, otc pain pills, and wait for your insurance to ok an mri, which in the meantime your in extreme pain, it's like go figure out for your self. read more

I saw Dr. Noel at the Crystal clinic for my shoulder. I really like the doctor. I don't like the way Crystal Clinic likes to Poniu off on nurses assistance or physician assistance etc. people with a lot less knowledge and education. When I come to an appointment and I've waited two or three months to get in with the doctor that's who I want to see. I was made to feel like I didn't need to see the doctor and I was being a pain by requesting to see the doctor. Apparently you don't typically see the doctor until your second appointment after x-rays and MRIs etc. I want to meet who's gonna be treating me when I go to my first appointment. If I don't like them I'm not gonna waste my time coming back for a second appointment. I was insistent that I wanted to see Dr. Noel. I had driven 40 minutes waited and waited over a half an hour to see him. The physician assistant was persistent but still kind that I didn't need to see him. The second woman who came in I can't recall what her title was the person who set up the appointments for MRIs and follow ups I found extremely rude and harsh, all because yes I do wanted to meet Dr. Noel while I'm here that's who my appointment was with. When Dr. Noel came into the office I had a couple of questions I tried to be very quick as to not take up much of his time. I was pleasantly surprised at how kind, patient, and not in a rush Dr. Noal was. He answered my questions and didn't rush me at all. I really like his personality and the way he presents himself. He was not in a rush to do surgery and offered physical therapy as a first step. He was a second opinion and I liked his opinion. The other doctor I went to see not at Crystal Clinic said there was nothing you could do other than surgery and come back when the pain was bad enough. I did get a third opinion out in Pittsburgh from one of the top 10 shoulder doctors who concurred the exact same opinion as Dr. Noel. If you have shoulder problems I highly recommend Dr. Noel. unfortunately you'll probably have to deal with some of the staff but don't let that put you off because if you get to Dr. Noel he's amazing. Also I do want to say the physician assistant had a great personality and was very kind and informative. I just wanted to see the doctor Who had more knowledge than her. read more

Absolutely terrible experience. During my first appointment with Dr. Su, I waited over 1.75 HOURS past the appointment time until I actually saw him. Next appointment was better (only 45 min) but still not a good experience. Then the clinic and the doctor parted ways at the end of Dec. 2017 even though I had a follow-up scheduled. Did the clinic reschedule me automatically? Of course not! When I called to reschedule, they wanted me to come talk to a nurse to determine what doctor would be best. Also known as 'wasted time' and 'driving up medical billings'. They have my file and my history so reschedule with another doctor already. I wish there was a way to have the clinic's license taken away. One star is too generous for this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this clinic. read more

In regards to the care I received from Dr. Jeffrey Noble at the Crystal Clinic. On July 10, 2019, I had my first appointment with Dr. Noble. The appointment went well. Dr. Noble ordered an MRI which I scheduled the following week. I made a follow-up appointment with Dr. Noble a week later. During this visit, Dr. Noble was unprofessional. One thing he said during the visit was "women walk this way so they are prone to have more problems" and then proceeded to say "people sometimes make more of things than they really are"! Dr. Noble wanted to put a "band aid" on the problem. I sought a second opinion and I am so glad I did! Dr. Noble not only had unprofessional mannerism, but he misdiagnosed me by a mile!!!!!!! I would not recommend Crystal Clinic or Dr. Jeffrey Noble!! read more

This place needs a 5 star rating. I've used Dr Paul Fleissner since I was born. I was born with club foot, not only did he fix that, he also just fixed my recently broken knee from a fall. Have always been treated well by the staff and doctors and nurses. Just because one person had a bad experience doesn't mean it all has to be bad. read more

If I could put zero stars I would. I have a serious situation and have had that I only met when going into emergency with symptoms of severe stenosis in multiple levels. He claimed he only could release the pressure in one area and they would have to do a full fusion later. Meanwhile I continued to have symptoms worsen. I contacted the office via their mail system, called and sent letters. This led to yet another MRI. At that point I realized he does not have any urgency despite me falling, continuing to lose feeling from feet to thighs, incontinence, etc. Got that MRI back and his PA called and said they want another MRI of thoracic levels. She basically said I would be referred to Cleveland Clinic. I suggested doing that quicker to avoid being totally disabled. Anyway, still no doctor interaction. Only met him as I was drugged ready for surgery. The whole experience has left me ready to launch a legal battle for him not looking at all the symptoms and guessing the thoracic region was involved. To not call the patient because of protocol should be illegal. So now tomorrow I have to head back to emergency to hopefully get someone that can get me on the road to recovery and at least walking and out of bed! read more

I hate to be that guy that gives a place one star but it is required here based upon the fact that my consultation about my back ended up costing me $650 with no real solution given. Even though I walked in with an MRI and report in my hand, they hustled me off to get much less precise X-rays before even looking at the super precise MRI I had brought them...that alone cost me $400. Even though the doctor felt sincere when she talked to me, I couldn't shake the sense of being taken on an expensive ride to nowhere. Don't let this happen to you! read more

I had what seemed to be serious hip pain. I first went to the ER because I was in so much pain. They gave me a week of meds and told me to make an appointment with an orthopedist. Since I had a friend who had a doctor at Crystal Clinic whom she loved I went there and was happy to get an appointment just two weeks out. I really did like the doctor and the staff were all very nice, but the pricing is ridiculous! Since they are specialists and not GP I had a $60 co-pay. I'm not sure what good that did because everything during the visits were billed separately. There are physicians services, clinic charges, different tests, xrays, the doctor I was seeing looking at the x-rays, new patient visit, etc. Then bills did not show up until three plus months after the fact and they all came at once! They arrived about a week after the statement dates and were due a week later. Every bill had a different account number so even if I make payments I have been told they cannot combine the bills and I have to make payments on each bill. They could not order an MRI until I did a full month of physical therapy. It turned out I had spine issues and pinched nerves - nothing the PT was helping and yet a huge expense. Unless you already have a diagnosis I don't think CC is the best place to go. I was told that if it got worse to go back and they would give me more meds and decide what course to take. I left there and had the severe pain again immediately. I went to a chiropractor the next day and he is fixing the problem for a fraction of what I had already been charged at Crystal Clinic. read more
