You honestly can't beat the quality and affordability of the service. They're absolutely my new go to for carpets. Be prepared though, the scheduling system is weird. You choose your ideal appointment time, and then 2 other times that work for you that can be used as a back-up. I received confirmation that I would have my cleaning on my ideal day, but the night before I was contacted to let me know that they had to switch me to one of my back-up days. I'm thankful that I have a lot of control over my scheduling and could accommodate the change, but it's something to keep in mind. read more

On September 22nd a Crystal Crystal technician arrived at my home to perform a scheduled carpet cleaning. I was excited about using my groupon and 2 free kid room cleanings as I added more services. The serviceman was very pleasant and professional. He explained everything politely and went on with the job. Upon completion I handed him my credit card for payment and asked that he added a $10 gratuity. As we were walking towards the exit door I noticed a number of marks and scratches on the wall all along the staircase he cleaned. I immediately realized he caused it as that very wall was painted about a month earlier. I pointed out the issue to the technician who admitted to causing one of the spots on the wall with a sweaty elbow but has denied causing the scratches in other places. He asked that I discuss the matter with his supervisor Darryl and gave me a phone number to call him. I have immediately called that number and was transferred to a voice mail. I left a vm but have not received a call back. I have continued to call and leave further messages but there is absolutely no call back or response from the business. I am absolutely shocked by the lack of customer service. Even after a number of weeks I have not received a single phone call from the company. I have filed a complaint with BBB and received a response from Crystal Crystal stating the they chose to believe the testimony of their employee and ignore that damages and evidence I have collected. The business has caused me $130 in damages I will have to pay to repaint the wall. As for the cleaning, it's not too bad. The carpet appears lighter, but the trouble spots I pointed out are still dirty as they were. I feel ripped off by this company and sadly I have no other recourse but fight for justice and my money in the court. Oh well, so be it. Stay away from them, there are many other carpet cleaning businesses in town. I am sure none of them can be worse than this one. read more

I've used Crystal Crystal Carpet Care twice now to clean my carpet. While I agree with the one review that the scheduling process is daunting and confusing, I do think the results of cleaning are worth it. The price is not overly expensive, especially since kid's bedrooms are cleaned free. The company was able to use enzymes to remove pet odor and stains from my dog/cat, and the carpet was dry within 4-5 hours. read more

I went to the Better Business Bureau before ordering my Living Social voucher and saw they only had good marks. Crystal Crystal did a good job of cleaning my apartment carpets. The price was reasonable, but could have been cheaper. The 2 guys that came out were friendly and professional. They did a good job. My gripe comes with the "service" rep named Darryl who I had a few emails with. Although the 2 men did a good job, they did show up 30 mins AFTER my promised 1 hour window. So, basically, I was left waiting for 1.5 hours for someone to show up. This would obviously be frustrating to anyone. I sent an email to their service department to let them know about this. Rather than just apologizing and offering some kind of reparation for the incident, I was instead basically given a lecture about how "things happen" and how they are the only people who offer a 1 hour window. I was pretty much told I was lucky to be getting the deal I got because any other company would have a larger window and probably cost more. Basically, I should be happy with what I got. Darryl gave me a list of reasons they might have been late and trying to make an excuse for it rather than just apologizing and trying to rectify the situation. It was extremely unprofessional and off-putting. If I ever need my carpets cleaned again, I'll definitely think twice before going to Crystal, unless they are cheaper by a large margin. read more

On November 29, I booked an appointment for service with this company for the first available day, which was today, December 27. I received both a text and an email confirmation. We planned our holidays knowing we had this date scheduled..we did not put up a tree or decorate as normally would because we didn't want to have to pull it all down the day after Christmas. We spent Monday, my husband's last vacation day, moving furniture out of the living room and rearranging other rooms to fit it all in. At 8pm last night, I receive a text stating that they were cancelling, due to the fact that they had "just noticed" that all their techs were off till Jan 3rd. I responded that shouldn't someone have known that a month ago? I got no response. I tried to contact them through their Facebook page, asking what they were going to do to make this right. As a business owner myself, I expected the owner to step up and honor my scheduled appointment himself. But he did not do that. When he finally contacted me at nearly 5pm today, he seemed completely unbothered by the fact that not only was our Christmas ruined, but now New Years would be as well, because we can't move the furniture around again until the carpet is cleaned by someone. I cancelled my service and requested a voucher refund through Living Social. I would be ashamed to run a business this way. A business owner should take pride in his work and go our of his way to make an issue right. I am not a believer in "the customer is always right", but in this case, I believe I was. I will take my business elsewhere. I am giving one star because zero stars is not an option. read more

I would NEVER recommend Crystal Crystal Carpet Cleaning!!! I made the mistake of buying their Groupon and now I completely regret it! After purchasing the Groupon, I went online and filled out my preferred days to have my carpet cleaned. Several week later, I randomly received a voicemail from an unknown number confirming the appointment time for the carpet cleaning, which was in less than 24 hours! Obviously, with such short notice, I was unable to be at home for the carpet cleaning. In disgust, I was given the run around when I requested to speak with a supervisor. To this day, I have yet to speak to a supervisor and Crystal Crystal Carpet Cleaning believes that their actions are appropriate. They claim that 5 e-mails were previously sent to me, which I never received and that they never once followed up on until less then 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. They lack customer service and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone! read more

Darryl came to my house and used this different method to clean the cream colored carpet that is throughout my house. It was really dingy, pet stains, food stains, and it truly looks almost brand new now! I will never call a traditional carpet cleaning service again!!! Pet and child safe, no harsh chemicals and our carpet was dry within a few hours of having it cleaned. Loved it and Darryl is the nicest guy, polite and professional! Highly recommended! read more

This was my first time using Crystal Crystal and I have to agree with the other reviewers that although my carpets were thoroughly cleaned and the process was relatively painless, there was a slight frustration in the TIMING. I was informed that they would be there between 8:30-10:30 a.m. and they showed up at 11:15 a.m. Not bad since I had the morning off from work, but could have been bad had I not. I will know next time when scheduling. Other than that, carpets looked beautiful in time for company arriving that weekend! read more

I had carpets cleaned on a condo I purchased and Darryl did a wonderful job. He is extremely personable, answered any questions I had, and explained the carpet cleaning process. The carpet is original to the condo (a little over 10 years old) but looks new. Darryl paid extra attention to the high traffic areas and the difference is obvious.
