I really wanted to love this place. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a sensational aroma of incense and a variety of gigantic, gorgeous crystals. It was my last day visiting Sedona before flying home and my partner and I had yet to check off a "reading" from our list. We opted for the 30 minute couples tarot reading with Shalini. While I felt her energy was warm and pleasant, I couldn't help but feel that the reading was vague and uninformed. Although looking back I wish I had given more context to her findings in the reading, I felt that even when my partner did, her feedback in relation to the individual cards we pulled was, again, vague. We each drew about 7 cards, so I was hoping to hear more about them and their meanings - however I also understand time may not have been on our side considering we chose the 30 minute session. Despite this, we still were able to take away a general sense of what the reading was telling us, although it did take some extra discussion between the two of us post- reading. Finally, and my main reason for the 2 star rating: As someone who is a strong advocate for human kindness and civil rights (namely those belonging to the LGBTQ community, women's bodily autonomy, anti-racism, anti-fascism, and overall the concept of anti-white supremacy), I found it quite off-putting and subsequently diverted my attention from the reading when Shalini brought up Charlie Kirk's death and vocalized what an "amazing" man he was with such sincerity and concern for my potential "grief" at his passing. Now, regardless of what your opinions are on this political event, I find it inappropriate to bring up anything remotely connected to politics during a reading as it diverts attention away from the client and their intention for the reading. Especially considering I felt personal disdain for the political figure in question, I was very upset and disappointed that it had to interfere with my partner and I's reading, preventing us from getting the most out of the $115 (not including tip) for 30 mins. Overall, I would try someone else next time since my dad said he saw Stephanie and had a great experience. I just want to say some words about Annai (North Node Astrologer). I was a walk-in and glad that Annai was able to see me. I had been stuck on a project and had that prominently on my mind. And Annai was a good listener who was able to offer sage guidance. She very quickly created a chart based on my date, time and place of birth. Her reading about my personality was right on but more important she gave excellent insights on my issue. Part of this was from her understanding of my astrological chart - part from the divination cards she chose and part from her own intuitive hits. My wife and I had readings with Aiyana and both had similar experiences. First, she was about 15 minutes late arriving to our scheduled appointment; and she never apologized. We were each taken to a little room that was adjacent to the parking lot and highway, making it noisy and distracting during our readings. Aiyana spent quite a bit of time cleansing the room and grounding herself before starting our readings. During my reading Aiyana kept fishing for information; my wife said she did the same with her. I have had several prior readings and none of the real psychics asked me so many direct personal questions. The information Aiyana provided was very generic and she spent a lot of time talking about the chaos to come in our world or trying to understand what my spirits were saying to her. My friend told me to give this a go so I thought - why not. I made an appt online and booked with one of the people. This was my mistake. I had an idea of what type of experience I wanted BUT since I'm a rookie I didn't know what that was actually called. I thought everyone could provide the same experience. I was wrong. I quickly found out briefly into my session that was not the case. The appt itself was fine, just wasn't what I was really looking for. What I will say is - if you are looking for a zoom session know that they use the free version and it cuts off at 45 min. They did call after to finish but it did disrupt the session. I'd recommend booking under that or just doing a phone call. read more
