Now that I have a Brighter Future, I'm gonna start brushing my teeth !!! I feel lucky that I found Cynthia Beck! I was referred to her by another hypnotherapist that was on sabbatical. That is how good she is, even other hypnotherapists trust her! I was looking for a hypnotherapist to do a special kind of past-life regression called "Life Between Lives" past-life regression just to get a hint of why this life is the way it is. But the last LBL-hypnotherapist I tried, wanted to do the sessions in a structured way that felt forced. Life Between Lives sessions are supposed to find the space between past lives where we go to our Higher Self/Source where we again reconnect with Love and choose our new life. I got that with Cynthia and so much more because Cynthia does not force a direction or implant her ideas in the sessions. Rather she allows my subconscious, which I was pleasantly surprised to realize is really just the loving part of myself that lets beautiful images and deeply meaningful feelings and ideas naturally flow. In the sessions I was able to talk out loud, easily relating to Cynthia in real time the Images/Feelings/Ideas that are very happy, and loving, beyond my usual habitual overthinking critical mind chatter with its endless questions and noise. Especially with the past year of the Covid overthinking! I came to Cynthia for a reiki service and I had a wonderful experience. 2 years ago I was fighting for my life from a autoimmune disorder leaving me quadriplegic and on ventilator. I came to Arizona on my first vacation since my diagnosis. Cynthia treated me with so much kindness, respect and care. I made the appointment because I wanted to release the trauma I'd been holding onto. Thankfully my energy feels balanced and the pain of the past has been released. During the Reiki session I felt strong energy the top of my head, pulsating waves like when you feel two opposing magnets. She had me hold a crystal in each hand and placed crystals down the center of my body. While working on my legs each one of my hands would randomly open and I'd have to close it again to hold the stone. It happened at least 5 times. Each hand at separate times it was wild. She said this was due due to the energy shifting and was a sign of letting it go. I have always had an interest in trying hypnotherapy, and decided to go for it when Cynthia posted a 3 session deal on Living Social. This was such a great experience! I went in fairly troubled about something that had happened recently, and the first session we worked on that specifically. Cynthia spends a lot of time getting you to evaluate how you think about things, and how you can put a positive spin on what you might perceive as a negative situation. She gave me tools to use the following week, and it really helped me to stop over-thinking. It's kind of amazing how much a thought can weigh you down! I can be a bit shy in certain social situations, and the work we did together really helped me relax and be more comfortable in situations I used to be anxious about. First of all I'm dealing with something that isn't spoken of often. Think adult bullying on a grand scale - oh yeah - covertly so no one else really sees it happening to you. I came across Cynthia through Living Social. I'd been researching ways to overcome the fear of public speaking and jumped at the chance when I found she was offering a two day workshop. During her workshop we worked on delivery, relaxation techniques and calming the mind from fear of public speaking. After reading reviews for Cynthia I decided to book a session with her for reiki while I was on vacation in Sedona. Immediately I was comfortable with her; I felt genuinely seen and heard. After talking for awhile I decided to do hypnosis instead and we dug into 2 prominent childhood memories that had stuck with me throughout life. It was so healing and in the 2 months since my trip I've stopped thinking about them as often.
