Billing Department trying to charge me for appointments I have pre authorisations for and I've been trying to see the doctor since December. Call to figure out why they want to charge me $278 for a visit that should be covered and they keep hanging up on me! My calls don't even go through anymore. They pick up the phone and hang up. My doctors are the BEST but if this place can't get their shit together I'm leaving to find a doctors office that can do billing and insurance claims correctly. read more

The absolute worst. I went for my annual physical. It took all of five minutes. That's not good. Somehow, Dr. Khwaja was able to miraculously perform a full annual physical without even asking me to disrobe. Please do not go here. This is the 3rd month in a row that my prescription has been almost two weeks late. This is so freaking ridiculous and frustrating. Leaving another review because there's literally nothing I can do. Calling again today, they told me I have a "telehealth" appointment tomorrow when I never even signed up for that date and instead it was the 29th of this month. So interesting to hear plans from people you never made. It's been about a little over a week this month. I would be a lot angrier if I wasn't used to this abuse. Not really sure what my doctor is doing all day. Why does this location always use students to draw blood? My arm hurts like heck every time I have to come in for blood work because they're inexperienced. I understand that they need practice, but the patients should have a choice whether to allow a student to do it or not. i went for a procedure with a referral from World Trade Center Health that would cover any and all of the bills. it was sent beforehand. i went for pre procedure consult and they billed MY OWN INSURACE without telling me. it left a balance and i started getting emails saying i needed to pay or it would go to collection. i had the referral re-sent to them 2 more times. on the day of the procedure they asked for my insurance. i explained again. they searched my file in the computer and they found the referral. i assumed all was well. it was not. 2 months later i am still looking at bills threatening collection. when i called they said i had not supplied the billing address so it was my fault. it was on all 3 copies of the referral. they finally cleared part of the bill and then i got a lab bill. when i called again- they said i had not provided the address. strange because they used it to clear the first part of the bill. i actually had to look it up and give it to the woman because she said i had to supply it- not them. my doctors and nurses were wonderful. i could not ask for better. the rest of the organization is a disaster. i would rather stick pins in my eyes than go back. read more

Leave your number to keep your place in line they never call! I had an abdominal scan back in April. I need the CD because my Urologist in NYC read the report but he wants the CD. I called medical records and they told me I can't pick it up at 155 Crysta Run Road I have to fill out a request and they would send it to me in the mail. I filled out the request on 6/20/25 signed it scanned it and sent it electronically. within a week I received the report which I already have and a sticky note saying CD to follow they stamped the report 6/20/25. I called them several times since them because i still haven't received the CD! I need the CD by the 14th of July. I called their medical records and someone answered in North Carolina. after several hours on and off I was transferred to someone and was hung up on. I finally got someone this afternoon and she would give it to her supervisor and call me in an hour. Never called back. Whoever is running that s--t show needs to be FIRED! read more

Had a ct scan at Radiology in Newburgh. Not a very warm welcome in the lobby, but all those who did the scan were excellent: Samantha Ganz, RN, Pete Westscott, Rad.Tech, Jose Serra, Rad.Tech. I was extremely scared and had high blood pressure, but they calmed me down and showed empathy. It went smoother than expected. Thank you Crystal Run for your nice team! read more

I was there 3/3 for bloodwork and I also experienced the problem they were having with their system changeover that took place on 3/1. there were at least 50 people in the small check in area with a woman with a notebook having people write down their names as they came in. I waited for an hour just to be registered. At no time during that wait did anyone tell us we needed our license insurance card and credit card. I wonder how many people waited only to find out those cards were needed. what really concerns me isn't the waste of everyone's time, but the fact that there's a sign by the receptions desk saying that area was experiencing a high level of Covid so staff was masking. So people were packed in like sardines when they could be exposed to Covid or other viruses. Why did administration decide not to cancel non urgent appointments? There were patients there who had cancer, were elderly, and on oxygen (obviously at risk). seems they are more interested in making money than their patients well being. I love my doctor and all of the staff there but the higher ups need to get their act together. read more

Walked in cause my wife has a uti and tried to go to urgent care and the receptionist told us it would be a three hour wait so I asked how if there's no one here ( the parking lot is literally empty) so she responds with "their waiting in their car" again the parking lot is empty there's two people in their car and like three couples minus me and my wife inside, so I'm having trouble understanding as to why it's a three hour wait?!! My boyfriend and I moved to NY a month ago. His insurance was supposed to kick in Oct 1, but HR was having issues. He is a Type 1 Diabetic. Running low on insulin, he made an appointment with Dr. Matthew Leone as he was the only Endocrinologist nearby that had availability this month. Today was my boyfriends appt and he ran out of insulin yesterday. My boyfriend had to pay $300 OOP since his insurance still isn't available. $300 and the doctor had NO INSULIN PEN SAMPLES in his entire office. Zero. Of the multiple brands he went over, he had NONE. How are you an Endo and have no insulin. Or were you lying and tryjng to prove a point to a patient in dire need without listening to his circumstance? $300 for the doctor to do absolutely nothing to help bring down his High Blood Sugar that can kill him in 48 hrs, but lecture him on something he had no control over. My boyfriend is 28. He's a grown man who has lived through T1D this long. He ended up having to go to the ER via Ambulance since it got so high he couldn't drive anymore. My boyfriend loved his enthusiasm, but it was misdirected as he didn't listen to him nor help him as a patient. read more

It appears to this patient that CRHC will take any measure to save money (salaries of admin staff) regardless of how this inconveniences the patient. as a patient administratively, you were treated like a can of soup on assembly line. Horrible standard of care yesterday. Went in for acute asthma and sinus issues and was refused care, forced into an EKG and then told to go to an ER because there could be some other underling issue. Was told they would send hospital my EKG result and paperwork immediately but they did not so when I arrived at hospital a second (perfectly clean like the once forced on me at Crystal Run) EKG had to be done. Dr. P at your facility was dismissive, argumentative and refused to give me any care for the presenting issues I walked in with. It is unacceptable that I had to spend an entire day at an ER hospital to receive steroids which could have just been prescribed to me at your urgent care. I will not be coming back nor will I be recommending your practice. read more

Crystal Run "Health Care" has several systemic problems that only you, the patient, will end up suffering from. If Zero stars were an option I would use it. I have had the unfortunate circumstance of being a patient there for over 7 years and my displeasure stems from many negative events during that relationship. (Apologies to the wonderful people work at this business, of whom there are many. This is not your fault. You are merely contractors that happen to be working on the Death Star.) I often wait on hold for 10, 17, 27 minutes at a time just trying to contact someone. They make it impossible to directly contact YOUR OWN DOCTOR. (You have to wait on hold, get someone to leave a message, and get a call back). This is the only method they provide. Call backs usually take a day or two. Ridiculous. Regarding my insurance, Crystal Run "Health Care" is 'charge first, ask questions later,' which will give the patient a nightmare of headaches with their insurance provider. And to be clear, this is NOT the fault of the insurance provider. This is 100% the fault of Crystal Run "Health Care" and their ineptitude regarding the administration of insurance authorizations on behalf of their patients. Never, ever, will a mistake be made in your favor...the mistakes only result in bills that arrive at YOUR house, cause YOU anxiety, and take hours of YOUR time to rectify. Their staff, at any office within their system, routinely fails to submit clinicals and authorization requests to my insurance provider which results in stressful situations where I cannot get, or fear not getting, the tests or care that I or my family members require. They make mistakes often...and while they are very quick to apologize and try to make it right...the fact of the matter is that Crystal Run "Health Care" has a culture that allows for multiple administrative errors. That is NOT OK IN THE FEILD OF HEALTH CARE. Crystal Run "Health Care" takes on patients as fast as they can possibly get them signed up, resulting in scarcities throughout their system. From my own family's experience; labs for blood work booked out for 1.5 months, MRI booked out over one month, Mammogram 6 months wait...the list goes on. This country should have better health care access than this. I am actively looking for some possible way to get care elsewhere. Unfortunately, the corporate greed of Crystal Run "Health Care" has resulted in a virtual blanket of nearly every provider within an hour's drive of where I live. I truly, truly despise Crystal Run "Health Care." I deeply regret the many, many hours of my life I have spent fixing their errors, and I resent them for the anxiety and stress they have caused me. read more

If I can give no stars I would, but the people at crystal run are incompetent. I got a flu shot 5 days prior and I started not feeling the best. This time of year for me with sinus infections especially ears. I checked in for urgent care and since we are in a pandemic we have to wait outside which im all for. I went in and filled out paperwork then went back outside. The nurse Leah called to ask the proper COVID question which again I am all for and I said my ear she asked about my throat I said it was scratch because my sinuses when I sleep I can't breath through my nose so I sleep with my mouth open if she even let me get that far to speak but she said they can't see me. I was like not everyone has the corona virus people can just have colds but she didn't let me speak and offed to make an appt 40 mins away for a car appt. very incompetent. She explained the pandemic i was like I know what a pandemic is I live in nyc. Get educated ! Never again hope everyone follows. Update: it's not necessary. The doctors and staff seem to be very caring and also very competent. It's great to be able to have all of your specialties taken care of in the same location. It does seem though at times the staff does not communicate very well with each other. Some things I would have expected one doctor would've communicated to another were not. But, on the whole, especially in the time of this Covid pandemic, I think they do extraordinarily well. read more

Worst decision has been putting my faith in this place for my pregnancy. Seeing doctors there has been fine, scheduling appointments? Oh my god. I am not pointing fingers at any person directly, I feel bad for every individual who has been caught in the machinery of this terrible place. It's more the operation of Crystal Run as a whole. Here's my latest experience to demonstrate how little every individual there knows about any one department and who is best to be reached to schedule any one thing in particular. I have to schedule my full anatomy scan, it is a routine ultra sound for any pregnant person, this shouldn't be a surprise to any one involved. I called Newburgh front desk, after being on hold the woman at the front desk for no reason, transferred me over to middletown, I almost booked an ultrasound but double checked 'is this in Newburgh or in middletown?', she was confused, she sent me over to the call center. Call center then, transferred me over to scheduling. Scheduling cut me off into middle of my sentence and transferred me over to a woman in radiology, woman in radiology was nice, but very confused why I was speaking with her, she then said 'OHHH you're pregnant!"..........she then said I needed to speak with someone else, then I find myself back on the phone with the woman in middletown. Again, not this woman fault, she was as confused as me and repeatedly said ' I can ONLY schedule in Middleton and Nyack' to which, almost at tears I reply, ' I know I NEVER wanted to be scheduled in middletown, I only ever wanted to be scheduled in Newburgh', so, I am then transferred BACK to Newburgh, only to find.......the woman who apparently can schedule me is gone for the day. Advice from lady in middletown?? 'yeah maybe just go in person to schedule an appointment' and I don't disagree with her. They cannot handle this over the phone. This is one experience, before this one there was a mixup between appointments and I was falsely told Id be in Newburgh for an ultra sound that my partner could attend, only to find out day of after he took off from work that no, in fact, no ultra sound would be done that day in the Newburgh office. If you want every step of your pregnancy to be an absolute shit show of misinformation and un-ceremonious scans where your partner wasn't informed as to where and when ultrasounds would be, then yes, crystal run is for you. But damn, they cannot get their act together to save their lives. read more

My experience at this location has been good. It took me a while to land on a doctor for myself, a pediatrician and for my wife's pregnancy. 3 different doctors. The only downside is that my set location for my baby's delivery is St Luke's hospital which imo is a dated facility and is in need of an overhaul. It worked out well however for my first child and we had a good doctor. We went to Middletown CR to try a better hospital for our upcoming birth and really didn't like our experience so we're coming back to Newburgh. In Newburgh I've had a few experiences where the receptionist wasn't invested and seemingly spoke too quietly just to annoy me BUT again most of the time it's been good. I've called for help here a few times to clear up prescription issues and the woman and the phone was extremely helpful and understanding. Overall I've been pleased. I personally love my doctor here. She generally makes me feel comfortable and is interested in what I have to say. My gripe with CR as a company is that they need to do a better job at getting more of these good doctors in. The ones that understand that building trust and respect with your patients is important. My loyalty is with the doctor as a consumer but if it was apparent that the standard of great service and care was attributed across the company I would be more loyal to Crystal Run. I've had enough bad experiences at other locations. Too many for Yelp. read more

This place is so unprofessional. I went to a gastroenterologist for some issues I was having. She recommended a couple of tests. Yesterday she called me to give me the results of my CT scan, and crystal run was having issues with their phones. It kept cutting out and we could not hear each other. She got angry and kept telling me it was my fault and my phone. She finally gave up without me getting my results. I did manage to catch that she saw something on my ovary and would need further testing for this. I was so upset as my mother died of ovarian cancer. I tried calling back for hours and could not get someone to hear me on the other end. Finally I was so upset my husband said get in the car and we drove to their Newburgh location. It was crazy there was 30 people in line. When it was finally my turn the front desk guy yelled at me and told me I should have never just showed up. I explained they were have issues with their phone and I wasn't the only one who was saying this everyone who walked in the door told them that their phones weren't working and they just kept blowing everyone off and saying oh really. He finally checked me in and told me that one of my doctors team members would come out and speak to me about my results, I sat there for an hour no one ever came out I finally went back to the desk only for the front desk to tell me that my doctors team never got the message and someone would be out shortly to hand me a paper copy of my results. When a nurse came out to hand me a copy of my results I asked her if I could speak with the doctor she told me no it was not a Gastro intestinal issue to call and make an appointment for another test with another doctor. I said really I can't speak to the doctor and again she said no you have an appointment tomorrow but you should probably cancel that and walked away. I never canceled my appointment only to find out that they canceled it for me so I couldn't even go today and speak to the doctor regarding my results. When I just called now first of all I was on hold for over an hour and the woman I spoke with had no clue she sounded like she was sleeping at home and told me that I would need to call back. I asked who am I calling back because I just waited an hour she finally told me that she would leave my doctor a message I explain to her I already left her a message yesterday multiple times and she said oh well there's nothing I can do. So now I have a paper with my results that I don't really understand what's going on and also a gastroenterologist who is refusing to see me for no apparent reason even though I'm still having symptoms and issues with my stomach. If I were ONLY rating the LPN's, Nurses, and Physicians at this location, I would undoubtably give 5 stars. The healthcare team members are top notch and truly care about the patients in their care. The administrative staff on the other hand are some of the most unprofessional and unorganized individuals I've ever seen. When you have an appointment here, you can check in online or at one of the mobile kiosks, however you'll still have to stand in a line behind (a minimum) of 25 people to speak to a receptionist. The receptionists are rude, unprofessional, and there is always some sort of network/computer issue that will hold everything up (though you'll never get an apology for the inconvenience). I will continue to visit this location as the nurses and physicians are incomparable, however they really need to switch up their registration process and administrative staff. read more

I've had nothing but good experiences here. The doctors are very helpful and will do everything to make sure you feel better. I've come here to see my PCP and a gastroenterologist and they are amazing. Wait time differs but it all depends if you get there on time, but most times the doctors are never behind. They are very easy to make appointments and always get me in ASAP. Best medical facility I've been to. read more

It is a horrible place with rude people. There is no reason to keep someone waiting because you refuse to get a manager. Not only did this lady refuse to get me a manager but she refused to give me a phone number to contact someone higher up. But she was ready and willing to take money from my pocket because suddenly after being seen in May they do not accept my insurance and state that I have a 300+ balance that I never knew of and that I never received a bill for.
