DO NOT USE IF YOU VALUE GOOD, PLEASANT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND A COMPANY THAT DELIVERS.
First of all, I want to note that this review is not for the delivery team that attempted to deliver our inflatable. They did the best they could, were nice and helpful to the extent that they could be, and it's not their fault that they work for such a rude and unpleasant boss.
This review is for Chris, who I assume is the owner. It's long, because I wanted to include each detail to help others avoid the frustration of someone who has been planning an event for a long time, only to have part of it ruined by terrible customer relations, rudeness, and total contempt for the customer.
Our adventure began on the morning of the event, when I received a call from Chris telling me that our inflatable was due to be delivered that morning. This was news to me, as previously it had been confirmed on our contract that it would be coming in the afternoon prior to our event at 4:30pm. Chris insisted (rudely) that this was not the case, and so I had to arrange for someone to be at our venue, at great inconvenience, to receive the delivery.
At that point, the delivery men called me to say that they had not realized we had tarmac instead of grass, and that it was in our contract that they needed to set up on grass (I reread it on the phone with them - it wasn't). They told me they would need to return with tarps and sandbags, and said that they could probably manage this within around half an hour. I agreed, thanked them and thought the problem was solved.
Next: a phone call from the charming Chris. He aggressively informed me that 1) I had told the company in a confirmation call that we had grass (I didn't, for two reasons - the first being that they never called me to confirm, and the second being that I know our venue extremely well, and am very aware that there is no suitable grass there) and that 2) his delivery men had no idea what their schedules involved (yes, he said that) and he couldn't guarantee that they would make it back in time despite this being 6 hours prior to our event (thanks to their unscheduled early arrival).
After a lot of back and forth, all of it unpleasant from his end (and I was quite plain with him about how nasty I found his manner) we left it that they would try their best.
That's the last I heard from them.
I left him a voicemail about 2 hours later, asking politely for an update. I called him several times after that, as did members of my event-planning team, and we emailed him as well. We also attempted to make contact with the delivery men several times.
Nothing.
They just didn't show up, didn't contact us, and basically ruined the entertainment we had planned for the 30 or so children at our event.
Please, for your own sakes, do not hire this company. Believe me, it does not sit well with me to leave this review. I am not vindictive by nature and am not seeking revenge. But we are a charitable organization and we relied heavily on this service, which was just terrible. We wanted to support local family businesses, and we will continue to do so.
Just not this one.
I fully expect a response from Chris about how none of this is true, and of course how none of it is his fault.
