I was leaving my house with my newborn daughter to go for a walk. I hadn't even made it to the next house when I noticed a man staring at us driving a red SUV extremely slowly. The vehicle was completely unmarked, no company logo, no signage, nothing. The SUV pulled over on the side of the road, and a woman got out and started walking directly toward me. As a woman alone with my baby, my immediate thought was that something was very wrong. She said she was from Courtesy Cuts and wanted to know if I wanted my trees cut. What that tells me is that your employees watched me leave my house with my newborn, followed me down the street in an unmarked vehicle, stopped, and approached me while I was alone with my child. That is not marketing. That is terrifying. It takes everything for some postpartum women to leave the house with their baby. Experiences like this are exactly why so many new mothers are afraid to leave their homes. If Courtesy Cuts employs door-to-door salespeople, they need to be in clearly marked company vehicles, identify themselves immediately, and use common sense. Do not follow women who have just left their homes with infants. Do not pull over and approach them from an unmarked vehicle. There is no reasonable person who would interpret that as safe. I genuinely feared for my safety and my daughter's safety until she finally walked away. I will never consider using a company whose sales practices made me feel like a target instead of a potential customer.

While there were indeed disagreements and misunderstandings throughout the project(which could have been handled more cordially by Sam; and we have spoken to him about that) the simple fact of the matter is that our crew was not responsible for the damage that she is claiming to be our fault. The damage that she is referring to was already present prior to the work performed and she only started making false claims about what happened after becoming infuriated that we did not obey her every demand regarding work that we performed on HER NEIGHBORS PROPERTY whom she has an ongoing feud with and had zero authority or decision making power in the matter. So ever since that event she has been harassing our company; leaving several bad reviews on every platform available and even changed her story many times along the way. It almost seems like she was looking for some type of excuse to create a problem with us from the beginning . I have already reprimanded the crew for falling into her argument trap (as we are not interested in perpetuating neighborly fueds and having long drawn out arguments over small details that turn into all out war and social assassination attempts). Although I still can't fathom for the life of me why someone would go so far out of their way just to hurt a small business who only had a minor disagreement and brief exchange of unpleasantries..WE DID NOT DAMAGE HER PROPERTY! So I'm really not sure what her insurance policy is like but I do know that many policies cover accidents but do not cover damage resulting from negligence (which I believe her claim falls under and would mean that her false claim would be financially rewarding to her). Some people are willing to go to any lengths to get a leg up in the world or to get revenge on those who do not bow to them. And for that, I am sorry that none of my crew bowed down to you on that day and I am sorry that your insurance policy didn't cover your claim due to it being classified of negligent inaction. Maybe she saw an opportunity to kill two birds with one stone in this situation, I don't know. But Diane, if you read this, please stop harassing our company and allow us to continue helping our community, supporting our famillies, and adding value to the society that we live in. This man claims he stole but texted he recouped all equipment and still has yet to release the full amount held for work already completed. Owner helped fix his saws as I went to pick one he had serviced for him up. They are not to be trusted they dump illegally and refuse to pay for work they've been paid for by clients. Treat your employees just as well as your clients, without them you'd have no income!!!!

I have used this company before, so they were my go to company when my 30' Norfolk Pine died over…read morethe winter this year. From the first phone call to the tree removal was less than 5 days! My home is a rental property and Dave remembered me from the previous work he did. He really looked after my interests and sent me photos from the initial walk, right through the day of work. Dave came out within about 2 hours of my first phone call on Monday, sent me pics of all everything I needed done. I needed the Pine removed, and my other trees trimmed as the limbs were all growing onto the roof. I received photos along the way, the team is professional, they use professional equipment, and sent me the document I needed for the HOA to take the tree down as an emergency. As they have arborist's on staff the letter is acceptable to the state for the emergency removal requirements. Dave and his crew are really great, really friendly! Office is great as well.
