Finally after digging for a bit they found me with a response of "yeah we don't have the sod, too much rain for it to be cut." What??? We are in a drought? Next, I asked is there a reason no one bothered to call me to let me know the sod was not coming so I didn't drive down to pick it up? I got a confused look and a response of "I was off yesterday in a sarcastic tone." I simply lifted that I took the day off work so I could pick up the sod and throw it the same day and that they had some poor business practices to hammer out. To her credit, the sarcastic woman did offer to have it delivered for free due to the trouble. That move got my attention and I figured, let me give them another chance! Accidents happen, if you can't get the sod I get it and maybe this is a learning curve for them to call a customer? I set up another appointment to get my sod and to have it delivered for about a week later. Since I took another day off of work, I decided to call the day prior to confirm we were set for the next day. I called and got an elderly sounding woman on the other end of the phone. I advised of my name and other necessary information to check on my order. The female confirmed the order was good to go and I confirmed where I wanted the sod placed. She confirmed everything to include the sod's placement was good to go and it would be delivered the next day (TODAY). Fast forward to today at 2:45pm...no sod has been delivered. Thinking maybe they were delayed some, I called the office where I got the same sarcastic female who I dealt with previously answered the phone. Once again, she has no idea who I am with a response of, "I have no sod here." Now I am beginning to believe I am being punked and recount my previous days conversation where I literally called and spoke with an employee who confirmed my order and where I wanted my sod dropped. Yet again, I got the same explanation of rain and they can't cut the grass!?! Silly me for asking a simple question of, "Is there a reason that no one called me?" "Well I was off was the sarcastic response yet again!! Seriously??? Run don't walk from the this business!!
