I walked in ready to spend money and not one person could be bothered to say hello. No greeting, no smile, nothing. The best part? I was just a few feet from another shopper. A sales guy goes straight to her and gives her the warm "How's your day and if I can help with anything?" treatment. Me? Apparently not worth a syllable. I turned around and left. This store won't see a penny from me EVER. If you want actual customer service, go to La Jolla or any other locations or just shop online. Otay Ranch has perfected the art of not giving a damn.

He says he enjoys when the vendors come and he adds to his inventory. He has wood, glass, silver and more from all over Mexico. So many beautiful quality items. I could shop to my heart's content. I bought bracelets, a money clip for hubs, earrings & hair clip for my granddaughter, a simple ring for Doc, a nativity scene with individual pieces. There were gorgeous stained glass but how to carry it back to Hawaii? I also bought colorful glass hummingbirds for our Christmas tree. The owner wrapped each piece in bubble wrap or individual bags and packed them in 2 compact boxes. It was very easy to pack in one of my carry on size suitcases. I would definitely recommend this shop. He told us which section was silver plated and which was pure silver.

Keep looking and you'll spy something you really want to take home as a memory of a good vacation.
I'd love to shop here again

Came here just looking around, found a bunch of cute bracelets and purses, although they are a little on the expensive side (in my very frugal own personal opinion) there are some unique pieces in here. And not to mention, it is slightly cheaper than buying it in San Diego... trust me I looked around. I'm surprised that there aren't more people over here all the time! The chick behind the counter is super nice and doesn't harass you while you're looking around (at some of these accessory stores they pretty much follow you around to make sure you don't steal merchandise... which is pretty annoying to say the least) I can almost guarantee that if you come here you will come out with something. At least a ring. It's impossible not to do so. Can't wait to come back here and look at all the pretty pretty things. Maybe next time I will have an excuse to buy something here. When is mothers day again?
So many options!
