There was an incident with a payment which they misplaced about 8 months ago which was difficult to sort out with them, but still, it was ok until this month. I called in October to let them know I was vacating as there is a 2 week notice requirement. At the time they said, no problem, let us know when everything is out. My bank sent a check for November rent on 11/1. I called again in November to let them know I would be out that week, again, they responded with great, let us know when you are completely out. I vacated on the 11th and called on the 12th to let them know and find out how I get my pro-rated refund for the month. Their response...we won't give one. ??? Yeah, if you hadn't paid us on the second, we could have done it they said. I don't understand what difference that makes so I continued to press her that no one told me that in the recent communications, but she was firm, condescending, and rude. "I can't read your mind" was one comment. "We have 564 other customers who are just fine with this policy" It's an arbitrary policy, that allows them to collect double rent on partial months, which is ripping people off basically. I told her that would prevent me from using them again if this couldn't be resolved. Her response, "That's fine" with a silent "I don't care" attitude. So they don't care about return customers and I really won't be back and I'm going to tell all my friends not to use this company either.

Lon gives beyond "customer service" into making one feel as the most important human. He was genuinely helpful in any and all aspects of this move to a new state. Potential challenges were instead smoothly and with high class seen and resolved (chivalrously) before I could even wish or request. The little things make a big difference. This man is attune to the challenging time of a move (exhaustion and tension) are turned to peace and calm in his 5 Star CARE. Freely mentioned and granted "service" discount. Made signing effortless. Contract includes line item initialing that was succinct, simple, clear and fast. Lon allowed oud us to get started before contracts were signed; he walked the contract to where we were working instead of having me take any of my time in an office where I couldn't answer questions of the multiple movers. his walk was from one far end of the property to the other and him doing so was 'top- tier. 26ft truck was easily maneuverable via the spacious drive areas. Feeling like a new friend; illustrated over and again, beginning phone call to closing texts. He cared about every aspect of my move and my non-storage inquiries. Paying my bill to this owner/operator is a pleasure. Working together feels as if a business "partnership" through common storage/moving goals. One night I needed after hours support and Lon arranged for Patrick to arrived and pleasantly assist. Every aspect of business here is an absolute jewel. Lon cares (above and beyond) in every phone call (once when closed he sent aide), every meeting (walked paperwork from one end of property to the other), explained regular treatment of property for rodents ~ why contract lists not storing food. Never authoritarian always same goals. I have stored in multiple states, indoor & outdoor entry. EWS is top-notch in cleanliness, sound structures, CUSTOMER service, huge peace-of-mind.

It's just a storage shed, right?…read more Well there are a few nice things about Wildcat setting it apart. First, the place is extremely safe. Great security system, great lighting, and on-premise management that lives on site. Second, the pricing is reasonable. If you find a better price they will match it and they are forever running specials to be competitive and keep the place full. My favorite thing is how accommodating they are. Need power? They find a unit close to an outlet. Need better access? They find a unit you can back a trailer to. Need a truck? They have a box truck they loan out for free to storage customers. It's more than just a shed.

DO NOT! I had a storage unit here for a number of years. One day I received the strangest email…read morefrom them, something to the effect of... "we noticed there's not a lock on your storage unit, feel free to come and put a lock on it at your earliest convenience." Can you say, "inside job!" Duh, if my unit has had a lock on it for many years, why would I just decide to take the lock off w/out moving my belongings out?!?! I immediately called them and they told me that they had done rounds the Thursday before and the lock was there, so it must've happened over the weekend. Needless to say, the lock was CUT, long gone and OVER HALF of my storage was stolen! I must say, in the days of "rings" "nests" and cheap, easy camera installation, I was utterly shocked to learn that they only have 2 cameras, both from the olden days and both pointed only at the front gate. Are you serious?!? When I called to ask if they could check their cameras and that the police would be coming to fingerprint later that day. The office manager giggled while she asked me, "do you have any enemies." The police found glove prints but no traceable fingerprints. Of course the manager said she couldn't see anything suspicious on the camera footage. I immediately moved the remainder of what was left out of the storage unit without telling Aspen Springs- I wanted to see how long it would take them to notice. Three months passed w/ out a word from them and then I got an email reminder that it was time to pay my next 6 months worth of rent. Clearly, my stuff was stolen months prior to when it was reported to me which would explain why I could not find any of it at the local pawn shops or online. Your belongings will absolutely be stolen if you choose to store them here!!!

We were so worried and our hotel had no parking so we called Hooper Self Storage and he was just the most friendly, helpful person. It was definitely after hours and they were closed, but he still answered and was willing to meet us at the storage place to let us rent the last storage he had. When we got there, omg, the storage was HUGE and perfect size!!! We are so very thankful to him for being so helpful and accommodating. I definitely recommend this place. Awesome customer service and one can definitely tell he is a caring person and likes to help people.
