It took 2 men 10 minutes to do this. They charged me $325 and I told them to call their boss because that was a ridiculous price for 10 minutes of work. They both agreed. I spoke to the owner and he brought it down to $250, still a ridiculous price! I had moved here recently and didn't know anyone so I needed help. They have taken advantage of a senior citizen! I told here I wasn't going to argue with her and that she did not need my email address to rent me an appliance dolly. I said if you don't want to rent me the dolly I guess I can go somewhere else. She tossed my driver's license back at me and said she wasn't going to rent the appliance dolly to me. I called U-Haul and filed a complaint. The customer service person called the store and the U-Haul clerk said I cursed at her which I did not! The U-Haul store has plenty of surveillance it wouldn't be hard to verify my story! I live in Virginia and am in Leesburg Florida to pack up my deceased mothers house. It's a hard enough job with out having to deal with this extra hassle. I guess U-Haul thinks this is acceptable behavior.
