I found Madeline through the SoCal Filipinos group on Facebook, as she was highly recommended by several members when I was looking for a maternity photographer. I was specifically looking to create a "Filipino look" with a peacock chair, and Madeline quickly sourced a beautiful chair and studio that would complete the look. The session itself took about 2 hours, and she was able to incorporate 4 outfits! Madeline was able to pose us and make us laugh to capture real smiles. I will treasure these pictures forever, of course because this is my first born child and the love of my life but they are so adorable too! Madeline is incredible at what she does and you can tell that this is a labor of love because she puts a lot of work into it. Madeline did 5 different looks for us :: family portrait, baby with daisies, baby with roses and basket, baby with tulips and baby with pink roses. All of them came out beautiful. Madeline came to our house with fresh flowers, the backgrounds she's going to use and props. She was friendly, very gentle with baby, gave good direction (just Incase you're like me and kinda suck at posing for pics) and is very efficient. Let me tell the readers how the party was. It's your daughter's 3rd birthday on Dec 23, 2017, Winter. It was coldest season. She has a cold that day, her nose was already reddish when I arrived and not in the mood for photos. I did manage to get her smile though. After the family photos, you instructed me to take photos of everything, that means candid shots of her playing in the zoo, and everywhere she goes. That is the meaning of candid. I'm pretty sure I captured all the moments with 500+ photos in 2 hours. That is an average of 4 photos per minute. I basic-edited all your photos as I do with all other shoots (color enhancements, exposure, composition, filtering) Basic Edit does not mean removing your daughter's beautiful rosy cheeks or removing her boogers/wetness under her nose, or fix where her dress was falling off her shoulder. I did remove some boogers on the important photos. I think I shot a good family where all of you were looking. We offered you a full refund or retake for a family portraits which you refused and we offered you to re-edit a select number of photos which you refused again. You want me to spend days and nights to edit all photos with your daughter's rosy cheeks, boogers/wetness under her nose, fix any photos where her dress is falling off her shoulder and my flash reflections? I'm so sorry but our offer is off the table. You are now harassing us with these false accusations. I remember you complained to me about your previous photographer; how terrible his photos were. Please don't hire another photographer if you will complain about a few bad photos. Better shoot your party yourself and don't tip if you feel they didn't do a good job. Madeline is an absolute gem. She has taken all of our photos for the last 10 yrs. My children 9 and 6 have been exclusively photographed by Madeline their entire lives for all occasions. My kids love her and we have referred her to all friends and family who also adore her. Madeline photographed my wedding and did a 4 generation photo shoot with my husband , son, grandpa and great grandpa that will never be forgotten. Just before my wedding my cousin was diagnosed with terminal breast cancer, she has 2 beautiful daughters and they never had family photos done by a professional when Madeline found out about her condition she donated a photo shoot free of charge for her so that her 2 girls would have photos of their mom... she passed 4 months later and those photos are some of the memories the family look back to when we miss her, Madeline made that happen words cant explain what kind of person she truly is. Wish I could give zero stars. We hired this company for an important birthday for our daughter. Pictures came out terrible. Lots of pictures of backs of head, and it was clear no effort was made to capture nice moments from the party. The photographer also promised to do basic retouching, but that wasn't done either. Now photographer is refusing to deliver the correct set of photos and it looks like we will have to sue them to get what we need, despite earlier promises to provide the correct set of photos. What a nightmare. Definitely avoid this business. read more
