Argos is still there and Wilkinsons which has been extended, and there is a big New Look. It looks like there will be more shops to follow as there were big 'Next' signs on one of the empty shops. I'm sure that people will start going there once the shops come, especially now as it is under cover. Apparently parking is free on Sundays so that is something to consider when wondering where to park in Southend!

The size of the warehouse is enormous and will take you about an hour to look round too, unless you're looking for anything specific. Be wary of electrical goods and some products though, as these can be poorly made, I purchased some candles here that started spitting, and I was only able to get my money back after demanding to speak to the management, who did apologise for the trouble caused, and the attitude of the person who dealt with me before-hand.

If you are hoping to pop in there while on your lunchbreak to grab the top you saw last week, DONT!! You will almost certainly be in there for the rest of the afternoon, if not queueing you will always find something else that you want to look at 'quickly'. Primark is a basically free-for-all, but this is what makes it so good. There is almost an evil look in your eye when you walk in there thinking what you can do to the person that picks up 'your' top. Or is that just me?!!? If you are looking for cheap clothes at a fantastic price and dont mind queueing for hours and fighting for the last pair of jeans, then Primark is for you.

There were staff teaching the Christmas temps how to fold clothing and even people keeping an eye out on the shop floor for anyone needing assistance or shoplifters. I would like to thank the man named Calum and another called Richard who were extremely helpful and went out of their way for me today. I left Primark in my mobility scooter happy with my purchases - thank Southend on Sea Primark.

When The Royals opened up you had 3 floors of shops, and places to eat, now all that is left is a small cafe area in the centre of the ground floor and a couple of shops. The shops that are there though are popular, and contain a good selection of merchandise, everything from clothing to entertainment, (GAME have also opened up a small store over the Christmas period, which I'm hoping will stay there). The space between the shops is very wide, so it's always easy to walk around, and you won't be knocking into people accidently. There is also a strong security presence, though the security usually only seems to be monitoring the front entrance, which is a bit concerning.

A huge Tesco store - this really is a Tesco Extra. The store has a fantastic range of goods, both…read morefood and non food. There is a good clothing section (although as ever it has a much wider range of girl's and women's clothes than men's and boy's. In addition it has a large homeware / toy / party section. My only issue with this store is that despite a number of designated spaces there are hardly ever any Child and Family parking spaces. This leads me to the dilemma of whether I leave my toddler or baby in the trolley to potentially get run over while I put the other in the car.
