The burrito was huge, packed with flavor, and I loved that it had actual biscuit pieces inside instead of potatoes. My husband ordered the same egg breakfast both days because he enjoyed it that much. Despite being very busy both mornings, with a line out the door each time, the service was fast and efficient. The restaurant only has outdoor seating, but we had no trouble finding a table on either visit. We'd absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty, satisfying breakfast. My only real critiques are that they only serve hot coffee. I know it's not a coffee shop, but especially during the warmer months, having iced coffee as an option would be a nice addition. Someone opening a coffee shop in the same shopping center would make a killing. The prices are also on the higher side. My biscuit and gravy burrito with an orange juice came to about $27 after tip. It was absolutely worth it while we were on vacation, but if I lived nearby, it would probably be more of an occasional treat than a regular breakfast spot. Initial communication was great, but it trailed off as we got closer to the date. Despite their "quick response" phone number, my calls and texts went completely ignored. To make matters worse, the voicemail changed from a personal greeting to a generic one 72 hours before my event, leaving me terrified that we had been scammed. We increased our headcount from 65 to 75 a week prior. After being told this was fine, I was sent an incorrect invoice that ignored the new guest count and asked for a second $300 deposit I had already paid. It took multiple follow-up emails just to get a confirmation on the final numbers. On the day of, the staff arrived promptly and set up on time. However, only 30 minutes into service--with only 30 of our 75 guests fed--they completely ran out of cilantro, onions, and grilled peppers. When I followed up the next day, they claimed they prepared for "70 guests." Even if that were true, it wasn't the 75 we paid for, and it certainly doesn't explain running out of basic toppings after 30 people. I'm incredibly glad we didn't use them for our wedding last year as originally planned. It's disappointing when the service doesn't match the reputation. 2 stars for due prompt service and the guests that got all the food really enjoyed the steak & shrimp.
