I am sent junk mail all the time by this auto shop offering free services such engine code checks,…read morebrakes, etc. I needed my battery and alternator checked to see if either was working properly after going by o'Reilly's the guy said theirs was broken so I decided to stop by Guthrie's and have them test my alternator and I should have known better than that because I was told there would be a charge for doing that something that is free everywhere else also they guy I talked to about this had the attitude of he could careless about my troubles! I would not take a bicycle to this shop after this experience and I wish they stop sending me FALSE advertisements in the mail you don't offer anything free of charge so stop misleading people!

It is important, as a woman, to feel like you are being helped rather than being taken advantage of when it comes to what men perceive as "man stuff." I happen to know a thing or ten about a motor, and I have never been treated in a condescending manner here. They smile, they are knowledgeable, and they all seem to get along well and have a good time. They cut up with regular costumers, too. They've started selling and installing tires here as well, so they have a really good menu of car care options.

After dropping the car off and waiting they received a phone call stating that they had diagnosed the problem and the bill was over $300 but not repaired. We already knew what the problem was and had a previous estimate of less than $200 for the repair no diagnosis was needed, repair was obvious. Would highly recommend to not use this facility for any type of repair work. Maybe they should stick to oil changes. Reported to the better business bureau. Ripping off young people, elderly, and women who are unaware should be a crime.
